Louis VuittonEpi Alma Electric GM Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Epi Alma Electric GM Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 38 × 29 × 18 cm, this is a roomy structured handbag that can generally hold daily and work essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, cosmetics pouch, diary, tablet, small bottle of water and other medium personal items. Because of the domed shape and zip opening, very bulky items may be less convenient to place inside.

Q: Will it fit a laptop?
A: A slim small laptop or tablet may fit depending on its exact dimensions, but the curved top zip can make larger devices awkward to insert. We recommend comparing your device carefully with the measurements shown on this page before purchasing.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No. This item is designed with dual rolled top handles and has an approximate handle drop of 11 cm. It is best carried by hand or on the arm rather than over the shoulder or crossbody.

Q: What is Epi Electric leather?
A: Epi Electric is a glossy version of Louis Vuitton’s signature textured Epi leather. It combines a structured silhouette with a polished finish, giving the Alma a smart, dressy look while still feeling practical for regular use.

Q: Is the Alma GM a good everyday or work bag?
A: Yes. The GM is one of the larger Alma sizes, so it is often chosen by buyers who want more capacity for everyday use, commuting or polished daywear. Its structured shape also helps it look neat and refined when carried full.

Q: How should I care for black Epi Electric leather?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth and avoid overfilling the bag, which can strain the shape and zip line. Keep it away from prolonged sunlight, excess heat, humidity, grease, hand cream, sanitiser, perfume and make-up, as glossy finishes can be sensitive to residue and colour transfer. When not in use, store it in a breathable fabric bag and lightly stuff it to help maintain its shape.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: According to the product information for this piece, it comes with a padlock, clochette and key. If an item is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: This item is listed in Good Condition. The exterior shows light traces of use with visible marks, the interior has light signs of wear, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches and slight tarnishing. As a vintage piece, these signs of wear are consistent with careful previous use.

Q: Where was this bag made, and is the serial/date code readable?
A: The country of origin is listed as France. The serial/date code for this item is noted as illegible, which can happen on older Louis Vuitton pieces over time. In vintage authentication, the code is only one detail and should be considered alongside materials, construction, hardware and overall craftsmanship.
