Q: What size is this Louis Vuitton Alma PM bag?
A: According to the product information, this bag measures approximately 30 cm wide, 24.5 cm high, and 16 cm deep, with an 8 cm handle drop. The Alma PM is a structured everyday size that offers more room than the Alma BB while remaining elegant and compact.

Q: What typically fits inside an Alma PM?
A: The Alma PM is generally suited to daily essentials such as a phone, long wallet, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch, tissues, and other small personal items. Thanks to its structured shape and firm base, it can feel surprisingly roomy for an everyday handbag, but it is not intended as a large work or travel bag.

Q: Can this bag be worn with a shoulder strap?
A: The Alma PM design can accommodate a strap attached to the metal mounts on the bag, but this particular item does not include one. As listed in the product information, there are no accessories included with this bag.

Q: Does this bag come with a lock, keys, dust bag, or box?
A: No. This specific item is sold with no accessories. If an accessory is not mentioned in the product information, it is not included with the bag.

Q: What is the condition of this particular bag?
A: This bag is listed in very good condition overall. The exterior shows watermarks and wear on the leather base, some scratches, and scuffed handles. The interior has light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches and some tarnished spots.

Q: Are watermarks and darkening on the leather normal for Monogram Alma bags?
A: Yes. Monogram Alma bags use natural leather trim and handles that develop patina over time. This leather naturally darkens with handling, light exposure, and age, and it can also show watermarks more easily than coated canvas. On a vintage or pre-owned piece, this ageing is common and should be expected.

Q: How should I care for this Monogram canvas and leather bag?
A: Handle it gently and avoid rain, damp environments, direct heat, and prolonged sunlight. Keep it away from perfume, cosmetics, oils, and coloured materials that may transfer onto the bag. If the surface gets lightly wet or dusty, wipe it carefully with a soft, light-coloured cloth and let it dry naturally. Avoid harsh cleaners or soaking the leather trim.

Q: What does the date code BA 0090 mean?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes are production codes rather than unique serial numbers. Based on the standard Louis Vuitton coding system, BA indicates France, and 0090 corresponds to the 9th week of 2000. As always, a date code alone does not confirm authenticity, but it is one of several details used in authentication.

Q: Is the Alma PM a good everyday bag?
A: Yes, for many people it is. The Alma PM is widely considered one of Louis Vuitton’s classic everyday silhouettes thanks to its structured shape, secure zip-top closure, protective base studs, and practical capacity for daily essentials. It is best suited to handheld or arm carry rather than hands-free use unless you add a compatible strap separately.
