Q: What size is this Louis Vuitton LV&Me Love Necklace?
A: According to the product information, the necklace has a perimeter of 60 cm. The hanging charm measures approximately 4 cm high and 2 cm wide, giving it a noticeable yet easy-to-wear statement look.

Q: Is this necklace gold or gold-plated?
A: LV&Me necklaces belong to Louis Vuitton’s fashion jewellery line rather than fine jewellery. This piece has a gold-colour look, but it should not be considered solid gold. As with most fashion jewellery, it is best worn with care to help preserve the finish.

Q: Can this necklace be worn every day?
A: Yes, it can be styled for everyday wear, but fashion jewellery benefits from gentle handling. To keep the finish looking its best, avoid contact with perfume, lotions, water, sweat, and household chemicals, and remove it before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.

Q: How should I care for this necklace?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store it separately in a dry place to reduce scratching and surface wear. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough polishing cloths, as these can affect the gold-colour finish over time.

Q: Will the necklace show signs of wear over time?
A: Light wear is normal with pre-owned fashion jewellery, especially on chains, charms, and closures. This example is listed in very good condition with light traces of use and shiny hardware with light scratches, so it already presents well while still showing gentle signs of previous wear.

Q: Does this item come with a box, dust bag, or other extras?
A: No. The product information states that there are no included extras with this necklace. If anything is included, it will always be reflected in the product information.

Q: How can I tell whether a Louis Vuitton necklace is authentic?
A: Authentic Louis Vuitton jewellery is typically checked through a combination of details such as engravings, construction quality, finish, proportions, and model-specific features. Pre-owned buyers also often look for production markings where applicable. At A Retro Tale, all items are authenticated by specialists before being offered for sale.

Q: Is the 60 cm length good for layering?
A: Yes, a 60 cm necklace usually sits lower than short collarbone styles, which makes it a versatile length for layering with shorter chains or pendants. It also works well worn on its own if you want the Love charm to stand out more clearly.
