Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton NéoNoé MM?
A: The MM is a roomy everyday bucket bag. Expect space for a large smartphone, continental wallet, keys, sunglasses in a soft case, cosmetics pouch, a small water bottle, an A5 notebook/diary and an 11-inch tablet. Capacity is helped by the two open sections divided by a central zipped pocket. For tailored fit advice for this exact piece, please refer to the Measurements on this page or ask us for a quick check.

Q: Will it fit A4 documents or a laptop?
A: A4 sheets can sometimes fit horizontally, but upright A4 folders are generally too tall for the MM’s 25 cm height. Slim tablets are fine; 13-inch laptops are typically not ideal due to the height and bucket silhouette. Compare your device dimensions with our Measurements or contact us to confirm.

Q: Is the strap adjustable or removable? Can I wear it crossbody?
A: This piece includes a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap and a short handle. Depending on your height and preferred drop, it can be worn on the shoulder and often as a high crossbody. We list the handle and strap drops in the Measurements section (approx. 13 cm handle and 35 cm strap for this bag). If you’d like us to advise how it sits on you, just ask.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: The NéoNoé features a drawstring top and a central zipped compartment that divides the interior into two sections. Day-to-day security is good, and the zipped section is ideal for valuables. For commuting or travel, we recommend keeping the bag upright and using the zipped pocket for essentials like your phone and wallet.

Q: Is the bag heavy and does it slouch?
A: Monogram coated canvas is relatively lightweight, and the NéoNoé MM is comfortable for daily use. The bucket silhouette is softly structured; it holds its shape well but can develop a gentle, elegant slouch with normal wear. Store it lightly stuffed and upright to help maintain structure.

Q: What materials and hardware does this version have, and where is it made?
A: This listing specifies Monogram coated canvas with red leather trim, a red microfibre lining, and gold‑tone hardware. It is stamped Made in Italy. Our photos show the exact finish and details of this piece.

Q: How should I care for the coated canvas, leather trim and lining?
A: Wipe coated canvas with a soft, dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Keep the leather trim away from moisture, oils and prolonged sunlight, and be mindful of colour transfer from dark denim onto light or coloured leather. The microfibre lining can be gently cleaned with a lint roller or soft brush. Store the bag lightly stuffed, upright, in a breathable dust bag, and avoid over‑tightening the drawstring to preserve the rim.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes located, and how is dating handled?
A: Authentic Louis Vuitton bags feature an interior heat‑stamp (e.g., “LOUIS VUITTON Paris” and country of origin). Older pieces commonly include a date code on a small leather tab or along an interior seam; from around 2021 LV moved to embedded microchips rather than visible codes. Placement and format vary—contact us for close‑up photos and help interpreting this item’s markings.

Q: Is the NéoNoé MM still produced?
A: Yes, the NéoNoé is part of Louis Vuitton’s ongoing collection, often released in different colours and trims. Availability and details can vary by season. The pre‑loved market is ideal for finding specific colour combinations like Monogram with red trim.

Q: What accessories are included and how do you authenticate?
A: Included items are listed under “Accessories.” For this piece, we note a shoulder strap. If an accessory isn’t mentioned there, it isn’t included—feel free to ask us to confirm. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and date code/microchip. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
