Q: What can the Palm Springs MM typically hold day to day?
A: As a generously sized city backpack, it comfortably fits A4 documents, a long wallet, a small make-up pouch, a water bottle and a tablet (up to around 12.9 in). Capacity depends on how you pack—please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Will a 13-inch laptop fit inside the Palm Springs MM?
A: It can be a tight fit. Many owners report that most 13-inch laptops do not fit comfortably, especially with a sleeve. Ultra‑slim models may slide in vertically, but for routine carry we recommend using a tablet instead and comparing your device to the internal opening before purchase.

Q: How does the MM size compare to the PM and Mini?
A: The MM offers the most room of the three, making it the most versatile for workdays or travel. The PM is a compact everyday size for essentials, and the Mini is the smallest, suited to just the basics and worn more as a fashion piece.

Q: What are the main materials and features of this model?
A: It is crafted from Monogram coated canvas with black leather trim and gold‑tone hardware. It features adjustable, foam‑backed shoulder straps, a top handle, a zipped main compartment, one front zipped pocket and a black textile interior with a slip pocket.

Q: Is it comfortable to wear for extended periods?
A: Yes. The shoulder straps are padded/foam‑backed for comfort and are adjustable to help distribute weight more evenly across the back and shoulders.

Q: Is the Monogram canvas water‑resistant and how should I care for it?
A: Coated canvas is durable and water‑resistant and can be wiped with a soft damp cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol‑based cleaners and over‑soaking, and take care with the leather trim. Do not overpack; when storing, keep it lightly filled in a breathable dust bag in a cool, ventilated place away from heat.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed in the product information section. This listing states no additional items are included beyond the bag itself—please review product information for confirmation before checkout.

Q: What does the date code FL2126 mean on this bag?
A: Louis Vuitton used date codes to indicate place and period of production. In this format, the first and third digits show the week and the second and fourth digits show the year. FL2126 indicates made in France in week 22 of 2016. Note that date codes alone do not guarantee authenticity; they are one of several indicators.

Q: How do you authenticate this item?
A: Every piece at A Retro Tale is carefully vetted by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and date codes, supported by specialist tools and experience. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and are happy to share additional product information on request.
