Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Pochette Florentine Belt Bag?
A: This is a compact mini belt bag measuring approximately 16.5 × 10.5 × 4 cm, so it is best suited to small daily essentials such as cards, keys, lipstick, folded notes and other compact items. A slim phone may fit depending on its dimensions, but it is not intended for bulky wallets or larger devices, so we recommend comparing your items with the Measurements on this page.

Q: How can this bag be worn?
A: The Pochette Florentine was designed to be worn at the waist for a hands-free look, but many collectors also use it as a small clutch or pouch when the strap is removed. This item includes a detachable strap for versatile styling.

Q: Is the strap included with this item?
A: Yes. This piece comes with a detachable leather strap, as noted in the product information. If you would like to assess the fit more closely, please refer to the Measurements Strap field on this page.

Q: Is the Pochette Florentine discontinued?
A: Yes, the Pochette Florentine is a vintage Louis Vuitton style that is no longer available in boutiques, which makes pre-owned examples especially sought after by collectors and lovers of compact hands-free bags.

Q: What materials and details does this bag feature?
A: This piece is crafted in Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas with vachetta leather trim, brass hardware, a beige microfibre lining and a magnetic flap closure.

Q: What does the date code FL0072 mean?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes from this era indicate the place and date of production rather than serving as a unique serial number. FL0072 corresponds to a piece made in France in July 2002.

Q: What is the condition of this item?
A: This bag is rated Very Good condition. The exterior shows visible scuffing on the leather trim, the interior has light traces of use with a few stains on the fabric, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: How should I care for vintage Monogram canvas and vachetta leather?
A: To help preserve the bag, avoid contact with water, oils, perfumes, hand sanitiser and cosmetics. Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth, store it away from direct sunlight and humidity, and take extra care with the untreated leather trim, which naturally develops a deeper patina over time.
