Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Pochette Florentine Belt Bag?
A: This is a compact belt bag designed for small daily essentials. It will generally suit items such as cards, keys, lipstick and a phone, depending on the phone’s size and case. With approximate dimensions of 16 x 12 x 4 cm, it is not intended for bulkier items like a full-size wallet or larger accessories.

Q: Will a smartphone fit inside?
A: Many standard smartphones should fit, but larger models or very bulky cases may be a tight fit. For the best indication, compare your phone’s dimensions with the Measurements listed on this page.

Q: How is this bag worn?
A: This model is designed as a hands-free belt bag and features an adjustable leather waist strap. It fastens with a magnetic flap closure, making it easy to access everyday essentials while keeping a neat, compact profile.

Q: How do I check whether the strap will suit me?
A: The strap is adjustable, but personal fit will depend on where you prefer to wear it on the waist or hips. We recommend comparing your own measurement with the strap measurement shown in the product information before purchasing.

Q: What materials and details does this bag feature?
A: This piece is crafted in Louis Vuitton Monogram coated canvas with vachetta leather trim, brass hardware and a beige microfibre lining. It is finished with an adjustable leather waist strap and a magnetic flap closure.

Q: What is the condition of this item?
A: The overall condition is Very Good. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As a vintage item, gentle signs of wear are normal and part of its character.

Q: What does the code FL1001 mean?
A: FL1001 is the Louis Vuitton date code for this piece. Based on the code format used for vintage Louis Vuitton items and the product information provided, it indicates production in France in October 2001. Date codes help place an item in time, but they are only one part of the overall authentication process.

Q: How should I care for Monogram canvas and vachetta leather?
A: To help preserve the bag, avoid overfilling it, prolonged exposure to heat or direct sunlight, and contact with water, oils or harsh cleaners. Wipe the coated canvas gently with a soft cloth and handle the natural leather with care, as vachetta will naturally develop a darker patina over time. When not in use, store it in its dust bag in a dry, ventilated space.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This bag comes with a dust bag. Everything included with the purchase is listed in the product information section, so if something is not listed there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully vetted for authenticity by specialists who assess details such as materials, construction, hardware, stamps and production markings. We stand behind the authenticity of the items we sell.
