Q: What are the dimensions of this Louis Vuitton Alma BB?
A: This bag measures approximately 23.5 cm wide × 17.5 cm high × 11.5 cm deep. It is a compact handbag for everyday essentials rather than larger work items.

Q: What typically fits inside the Alma BB?
A: The Alma BB generally accommodates a smartphone, a small purse or cardholder, keys and a few small essentials such as lipstick and tissues. Capacity depends on the size of your belongings and how you pack them; avoid overfilling the structured shape.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: This bag includes a shoulder strap, allowing an alternative to carrying it by the top handles. Crossbody comfort and where the bag sits will depend on your height and build. The listed strap measurement is 56 cm and the handle measurement is 10 cm.

Q: What is Monogram Vernis, and what colour is this bag?
A: Monogram Vernis is glossy patent leather embossed with Louis Vuitton’s Monogram pattern. This particular bag is listed as Gold.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: This bag is in Very Good Condition. The exterior has minor marks on the patent leather and slight fraying at the handle attachments. The interior is also rated Very Good, with light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: A shoulder strap is listed in the product information. A box, dust bag, padlock and keys are not confirmed as included; please check the product information or contact A Retro Tale if these are important to you.

Q: Is Vernis leather prone to colour transfer?
A: Yes. Louis Vuitton advises keeping Vernis leather away from materials that can transfer dye or ink, including denim, magazines and other leathers. Avoid prolonged contact with these materials, and protect the bag from direct sunlight, which can affect its colour.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: Handle it gently and avoid commercial cleaners, solvents, oils, perfume and hand sanitiser. For cleaning beyond gentle surface dusting, seek advice from Louis Vuitton or a specialist familiar with patent leather. Store it in a breathable protective pouch in a ventilated place, away from heat and direct sunlight, and avoid overpacking it.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin recorded for this particular bag is France.
