Q: Are these Miu Miu Rhinestone and Dangling Pearl clip‑on earrings authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What are they made from?
A: These are Miu Miu fashion jewellery earrings crafted with silver‑tone metal hardware, clear rhinestones with black accents, and dangling light‑blue beads/faux pearls. They are not solid precious metal unless stated otherwise in the listing; please refer to the close‑up photos for details.

Q: Are they suitable for non‑pierced ears and how secure are they?
A: Yes—these use a clip‑on closure designed for non‑pierced ears. Clip mechanisms provide a secure hold for most wearers; for extra comfort and grip you can add soft silicone pads or cushions to the clips.

Q: Will they feel heavy? What are the measurements?
A: They are statement earrings with an approximate height of 11.3 cm, width 2.5 cm, and depth 1.5 cm. If you’d like the exact gram weight or a photo on model for scale, contact us and we’ll be happy to provide it.

Q: I have sensitive skin—are these nickel‑free?
A: Fashion jewellery alloys may contain small amounts of nickel. If you’re sensitive, consider using barrier pads on the clips, limit prolonged wear at first, and discontinue use if irritation occurs. We’re happy to advise on comfort accessories.

Q: Can the clip tension be adjusted for comfort?
A: Many hinged clip backs can be gently adjusted by a professional so they hold firmly without pinching. We recommend using silicone pads and consulting a jeweller for any adjustments to avoid stressing the mechanism.

Q: Can they be converted to pierced earrings?
A: A competent jeweller may be able to add posts or convert certain clip‑on styles; however, modifications can affect originality, finish and resale value. We don’t offer in‑house alterations, so please consult a trusted specialist if you’re considering this.

Q: How should I care for the rhinestones and faux pearls/beads?
A: Keep them dry and away from perfume, hairspray, lotions and hand sanitiser. After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For occasional cleaning, use lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap on a soft brush or cotton bud, avoiding prolonged soaking; dry thoroughly. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemical dips. Store separately in a pouch or box to prevent scratches and snagging.

Q: What hallmarks or stamps should I expect?
A: Miu Miu earrings typically feature the MIU MIU signature and a country of origin mark such as “Made in Italy”. Placement varies by season; check our macro photos for any stamps on this pair.

Q: What condition should I expect, what’s included, and can I return them?
A: These are in Very Good Condition with light signs of careful wear unless otherwise noted. This listing includes no accessories. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please see our Returns page for eligibility, timeframes and conditions, and ensure the item is returned in the same condition received.
