How much is the shipping cost?
A Retro Tale offers free shipping to Switzerland.
Please note that customers are responsible for any import duties, Goods and Services Tax (GST), Value Added Tax (VAT), customs fees, and any other taxes in addition to the listed price of A Retro Tale upon delivery. Delivery delays may occur due to external factors such as customs clearance.

What is the expected delivery time for orders?
We offer secure shipping via UPS with the following delivery time:
Europe: 1-4 business days.
Outside Europe: 3-6 business days.
All orders are insured and trackable. Once your shipment has been issued, a link to our Track & Trace service will be provided where you can track your shipment and check delivery status online.
Please note that deliveries may take longer than usual during holidays and sales periods.
Below is a list of Swedish public holidays (red days) in 2025 that may affect our deliveries. On these days, many transport services and terminals are closed or operating at limited capacity.

What is your return policy?
A Retro Tale offers 14 days return policy upon receipt of your order.
In order to request a return, please email [email protected] with your order number and state ”return request” in your email. From there, our Customer Support will confirm that your return request has been approved and further instructions will be provided by email.
We will provide you with the shipping label. Please note that the return shipping fee is covered by the returnee and will be deducted from your refund.
Please allow up to 10 business days from the date you send the return for it to be processed, as delivery times may vary depending on the country you are returning from and the shipping provider used.
For uncollected parcels at postal or courier services, a fee of 60 USD will be charged. This amount will be deducted from your refund.
For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless the original safety seal is intact and still attached. Once the seal is broken or removed, the return policy no longer applies, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
How do I make a return?
At A Retro Tale full customer satisfaction is our main goal and priority. Therefore, we offer a 14 day return policy and a lifetime 100% authenticity guarantee for all of our items. In order to avoid unnecessary returns and reduce the environmental impact of return shipping, please note that most of our items are vintage or second-hand and therefore have tales to tell. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story a particular item has to tell. As a valued customer, your satisfaction is our main goal and priority. In case dissatisfaction arises with your purchase, we offer a refund or exchange of item under following conditions:
1. Please email [email protected] requesting a return within 14 days of receiving your item.
2. Once, you have received a confirmation email regarding your return request from A Retro Tale, please pack your return in the same condition as received with all its enclosed packaging accessories. Please note that each security tag must remain intact and attached to the item.
3. Properly seal your parcel and attach the return shipping label onto your package. We will provide you with this lable. Please note that the return shipping fee is covered by the returnee and will be deducted from your refund.
4. Please submit your parcel to your nearest postal office and retain your copy of receipt until your return has been completed.
5. Once your return has been approved a return confirmation will be emailed to you.
A Retro Tale reserves the right for compensation up to the full value of the item(s) if any of the above conditions are not met.
Should any concern arise regarding the authenticity of any of our items, we are happy to refer you to an independent authentication provider.

How long does it take for my return to be completed?
Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for your return to be processed and approved from the day you send your return to us.
Returned items will be compared to original photos taken of the item before the initial delivery to you. If the item is found to have been used or to be in a condition different from its original, A Retro Tale reserves the right to refuse the return. Refused items will be returned back to the customer.
Do you offer free returns?
No. All return shipping fees are covered by the returnee. We will provide you with the shipping label, but the return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. The fees are as follows:

How do I get a refund?
For orders purchased with credit card, debit card, direct debit, Klarna app or any other payment method on our website, the amount will be refunded onto the account or card used within 2-5 business days.
For Klarna invoices paid via bank transfer, Klarna will contact you in order complete your refund to your bank account, once A Retro Tale has approved your refund.
Please note that return screening process and approval of return may take up to 10 business days from the day the return is shipped to us.
Do you accept returns in the Mood store?
No, we do not accept returns in-store. All purchases made at A Retro Tale's store in the Mood Galleria are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
We of course handle claims in accordance with consumer protection laws. If an item is defective or does not match the description, please contact us and we will help resolve the issue.
I have removed the security tag, can I still return the item?
No. To qualify for a full refund, our security tag must remain attached. The item is not returnable once the security tag has been removed.
