Q: What fits inside the Louis Vuitton Damier Neverfull PM?
A: The PM is the smallest Neverfull size and typically holds daily essentials: a smartphone, compact wallet/cardholder, keys, small cosmetics, and slim sunglasses in a soft case. A small notebook or e‑reader may fit; an iPad mini can sometimes fit upright depending on the case. A4 folders, full‑size tablets and laptops generally do not fit comfortably. Please refer to the Measurements on this page or contact us for tailored fit advice for this specific piece.

Q: Are the straps adjustable? Can it be worn crossbody?
A: The Neverfull PM features fixed leather shoulder straps designed for hand or shoulder carry; they are not adjustable and the bag is not intended for crossbody wear. We’ll list the strap/handle drop in the Measurements—if anything is missing, just ask and we’ll measure it for you.

Q: How secure is the closure and can the sides be cinched?
A: The Neverfull PM typically has an open top with a central hook clasp for everyday security and side laces that can be cinched to create a more compact silhouette. For added peace of mind when commuting, we recommend keeping valuables in a zipped pouch or interior pocket and cinching the laces.

Q: What is the interior layout? Does it include the removable pouch?
A: Most Neverfull PM bags have a spacious main compartment with an interior zip pocket. Newer releases may include a detachable zipped pouch; earlier versions may not. Please review our photos and the “Accessories” section—if a pouch or any accessory isn’t mentioned there, it isn’t included. We’re happy to confirm specifics for this item.

Q: What materials is the Damier Neverfull PM made from?
A: Damier Neverfull bags are commonly crafted in LV’s coated canvas with leather trim and textile lining; hardware tone varies by release. Damier often refers to Damier Ebene (brown check), though other Damier variations exist. The listing for this piece will specify the exact materials and origin.

Q: Is the canvas water‑resistant and how should I care for it?
A: Coated canvas is more water‑resistant than natural leather but not fully waterproof. Avoid heavy rain and prolonged moisture. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth; use a neutral leather conditioner sparingly on the leather trim only (test first on a discreet area). Prevent colour transfer from dark denim, avoid overfilling, and store the bag stuffed and upright in a breathable dust bag away from direct heat/sunlight.

Q: How does the PM compare to MM and GM sizes?
A: PM is the compact, everyday size; MM is medium and suits most day‑to‑day and work needs; GM is the largest and popular for travel. If you’re choosing between sizes, compare your typical contents to the Measurements shown or ask us for personalised guidance.

Q: Where are the brand markings and date code/microchip located?
A: Authentic Louis Vuitton bags feature a heat‑stamped “LOUIS VUITTON” with “Made in France/Spain/USA/Italy” inside. Depending on the era, you’ll find a date code on an interior leather tab or along a pocket seam; from around 2021 LV began using embedded microchips in place of visible date codes. Placement and format can vary by year—contact us for close‑up photos of this specific piece.

Q: Is the Neverfull PM still produced?
A: The Neverfull line is ongoing, though specific sizes, interior colours and seasonal editions can vary over time. Availability changes by collection, so the pre‑loved market is often the best way to find particular configurations like this one.

Q: What accessories are included and how do you authenticate?
A: Any included items (e.g., dust bag, detachable pouch) are listed under “Accessories.” If it isn’t mentioned there, it isn’t included—feel free to ask us to confirm. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts (materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, codes/microchips and construction), and we stand behind the authenticity of all pieces we sell.
