Q: What typically fits inside this Hermès Fourre-Tout Porte Document Business Bag?

Q: Will it fit a laptop?
A: It should suit most 13-inch laptops and many slim 15-inch models based on the listed width and height, especially if carried without a bulky sleeve. We recommend comparing your device to the measurements on this page before purchasing.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: This piece is designed primarily for hand or crook-of-arm carry. The handle drop is approximately 7 cm, which is usually too short for comfortable shoulder wear over most clothing.

Q: Does it have a secure closure?
A: Yes, the product information states a top zip closure, which helps keep documents and daily essentials more secure than an open tote.

Q: How many compartments does it have?
A: This bag has a tonal lining with one main compartment. No extra internal or external pockets are noted in the product information, so it is a straightforward, streamlined document bag style.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition. The exterior shows some marks and wear, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches and some tarnishing.

Q: What colour is it?
A: The product information classifies the colour as burgundy. In person, this typically reads as a rich deep red or wine-toned canvas.

Q: Does it come with any additional items?
A: No. The product information for this piece states that no additional items are included.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Hermès canvas business bag?
A: Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight, excess humidity, and heavy overfilling. For routine care, gently remove surface dust with a soft dry cloth and use very light spot-cleaning only when needed. If the bag gets damp, dry it promptly and naturally, and store it flat or lightly stuffed to help maintain its shape.
