Q: What typically fits inside this Loewe x Paula’s Ibiza Basket Raffia Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 27 x 21.5 x 10 cm, this mini basket style is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, small wallet or cardholder, sunglasses, keys and a few beauty items. It is ideal for light everyday use or holidays rather than bulkier items.

Q: Is the bag lined or does it have a closure?
A: No. This piece has an unlined interior and an open top, which keeps it lightweight and easy to access. If you prefer a little more organisation, a small pouch works well inside.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. It features dual adjustable leather shoulder straps, so it is designed to sit comfortably on the shoulder while still keeping the easy feel of a basket bag.

Q: Will every Loewe basket bag look exactly the same?
A: Not necessarily. Woven raffia basket bags are often handcrafted, so slight variations in shape, weave and measurement can occur. That is part of the charm of this style, and the measurements listed on this page are the best guide for this specific item.

Q: How should I care for raffia and leather trim?
A: Store the bag in a soft cloth case, avoid overfilling it, and keep it away from prolonged moisture, direct heat and strong sunlight. If it gets wet, dab it gently with a soft cloth and let it dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid contact with oils, perfumes and cosmetics where possible.

Q: Is fraying normal on a raffia bag?
A: Light fraying and surface wear can happen over time with woven natural-fibre bags, especially around edges and high-contact areas. For this pre-owned piece, fraying and wear on the raffia are already noted in the condition description, so visible signs of use should be expected.

Q: What is the condition of this particular bag?
A: This bag is listed in good condition overall. The exterior shows fraying and wear on the raffia, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What product information is included with this bag?
A: This item is sold with no additional product information. Everything included with the purchase is listed in the product information section, so if an item such as a dust bag or box is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully checked by in-house experts before it is offered for sale. Authentication is based on brand-specific details such as materials, construction, hardware, embossing and overall craftsmanship.
