Q: What are the key features of the Taigarama Outdoor Messenger PM?
A: This compact crossbody combines blue Taiga leather with Monogram canvas, finished with silver‑tone hardware. It has an adjustable shoulder strap, a secure zip top, a front zipped pocket and a textile‑lined interior with a slip pocket. Our piece was made in Italy and measures approximately 26 × 19 × 9 cm.

Q: What typically fits inside this PM size?
A: Daily essentials such as a smartphone, compact wallet, keys, sunglasses, earphones, hand sanitiser, and a small notebook fit comfortably. Packing is easiest with slim items due to the structured profile and zipped opening. Please refer to the Measurements on this page to gauge your own items.

Q: Will it fit a tablet or iPad mini?
A: It fits an iPad mini and similar small tablets with ease. A standard 10‑inch tablet can fit if uncased or in a slim cover, but an 11‑inch tablet or anything with a bulky case is likely too tight for this PM size.

Q: Is the shoulder strap removable and how adjustable is it?
A: The strap is adjustable for crossbody or shoulder carry but is not designed to be removed. The strap drop on our piece adjusts up to about 45 cm, so fit will vary by height and styling.

Q: How durable is Taiga leather and how should I care for it?
A: Taiga is a cross‑grain cowhide known for being hard‑wearing and scratch‑resistant. Care is simple: wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, avoid harsh cleaners and prolonged sunlight/heat, let it dry naturally if it gets lightly wet, and store it loosely stuffed in a breathable dust bag when not in use.

Q: Is the Taigarama Outdoor Messenger PM unisex?
A: Yes. Although released within the men’s line, its minimal design and adjustable strap make it a versatile unisex crossbody for everyday use.

Q: What does the date code FO3179 mean on this bag?
A: FO indicates an Italian factory. The numbers show it was produced in the 37th week of 2019. Note that Louis Vuitton began phasing out date codes in 2021 in favour of discreet microchips, but earlier pieces like this one still carry a date code.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information section on this page. For this piece, the listing shows a box and a dust bag.

Q: Is this a good choice for travel and commuting?
A: Yes. The compact PM format, zipped compartments and front pocket keep essentials organised and secure, while the lightweight build and crossbody strap make it comfortable for daily wear and city breaks.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this bag?
A: Every item is inspected by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and date codes, with additional verification tools as needed. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can provide further details on request.
