Q: What are the dimensions of this bag?
A: This specific bag measures 35 cm wide, 20 cm high and 15 cm deep. These measurements apply to the item offered here, rather than other Victoria models.

Q: What can I fit inside it?
A: It is a practical size for everyday essentials such as a phone, wallet, keys and a small cosmetics pouch. The herringbone canvas lining includes interior pockets to help organise smaller items. Capacity depends on the size of your belongings and how you pack them.

Q: Will this bag fit a laptop?
A: Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this item. Compare your device, including its sleeve, with the bag’s 35 × 20 × 15 cm exterior dimensions, allowing for a smaller usable interior and the zip opening. The model’s size name alone does not guarantee a suitable fit.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes, it features dual flat shoulder straps for shoulder carrying and can also be carried by hand. The recorded handle measurement is 20 cm. Shoulder comfort will depend on your build and clothing. A separate detachable strap is not listed in the product information.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: What material and colour is this Hermès Victoria II Elan 35 bag?
A: This bag is crafted from brown Clemence leather with palladium hardware. Clemence has a supple feel and a grained surface, giving the bag a relaxed appearance.

Q: How does the bag close?
A: It has a two-way zip closure across the top. A padlock and keys are not listed in the product information, so they should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is in very good condition. The exterior has minor signs of wear and scuffing on the corners, while the interior shows light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: When and where was this bag made?
A: The recorded date stamp is a P within a square, corresponding to 2012. The product information lists France as the country of origin. The date stamp indicates the production year but is not, on its own, proof of authenticity.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: A dust bag is included. No box, padlock, keys or separate detachable strap is listed in the product information.

Q: How should I care for the Clemence leather?
A: Protect the bag from water, oils, prolonged direct sunlight and heat. If it gets wet, gently dab it with a soft, lint-free cloth and allow it to dry naturally, away from heat sources. Avoid applying household cleaners or leather treatments yourself. Store it in its dust bag in a dry place, and seek specialist advice for cleaning or repairs.
