Q: What typically fits inside the Chanel Deauville MM Tote?
A: With approximate dimensions of 38 x 30 x 12 cm, the Deauville MM usually carries daily essentials with ease: a 13‑inch laptop (in a slim sleeve), A4 documents/notebook, tablet, long wallet, smartphone, keys, sunglasses in a soft case, cosmetics pouch, a small water bottle and a light scarf. Capacity can vary slightly by edition—please refer to the Measurements on this page or ask us for a tailored fit check for this exact piece.

Q: Will it fit a laptop or tablet?
A: Most 13‑inch laptops and standard tablets fit comfortably. Slim 14‑inch devices may fit, but 15‑inch laptops are typically too large for a relaxed fit. Compare your device’s dimensions with the Measurements shown, or contact us and we’ll perform a quick fit check for this item.

Q: Are the straps adjustable? Can I wear it crossbody?
A: The Deauville MM features dual top handles (approx. 9 cm drop) and chainlink/leather shoulder straps (approx. 32 cm drop). Straps are not adjustable. It’s designed for hand and shoulder carry; crossbody wear is generally not intended due to the shorter drop.

Q: How should I store the Deauville MM to maintain its shape?
A: Store it upright and lightly stuffed (use clean, acid‑free tissue or a soft bag pillow) in a breathable dust bag. Keep the chain/metal parts protected from rubbing the fabric—place a soft cloth between the chain and the bag. Avoid hanging the tote by its straps for extended periods, and keep it away from direct sunlight and fluctuating humidity to preserve the canvas and hardware finish.
