BvlgariBulgari Bulgari 33mm Ref BB33SS Watch

Q: What is the Bvlgari Bulgari Bulgari 33mm Ref BB33SS?
A: It’s a Swiss‑made, vintage Bvlgari wristwatch featuring the brand’s iconic double‑logo bezel, a 33mm stainless steel case, elegant black dial and matching steel bracelet. This piece is powered by a reliable quartz movement and offers a refined, unisex profile suitable for everyday smart wear and formal occasions.

Q: What movement does it use and which battery is required?
A: The watch uses a Swiss quartz movement. Most examples take a standard 1.55V silver‑oxide button cell; common types include 377/SR626SW or 371/SR920SW depending on the specific calibre. As battery specifications can vary, please have a qualified watchmaker confirm the exact cell for this watch and handle replacement professionally.

Q: Is it water‑resistant?
A: Water resistance on vintage watches is not guaranteed. Treat it as splash‑resistant at best and avoid showering, swimming or submersion. If light water resistance is important, ask a watchmaker to replace gaskets and pressure‑test the case, and always keep the crown fully pushed in when near moisture.

Q: How do I set the time on this model?
A: Gently pull the crown out to its setting position and rotate to set the time, then push the crown back in firmly. Many BB33SS examples are time‑only; if yours has a date, avoid changing the date between about 8pm and 2am to protect the mechanism. If in doubt, we’re happy to advise.

Q: Will the 33mm size suit my wrist, and is it unisex?
A: A 33mm case offers a classic, refined presence that suits small to medium wrists and also wears elegantly on larger wrists seeking a discreet profile. The design is widely worn unisex—fit is down to personal style and wrist shape.

Q: What wrist size does the bracelet fit and can it be resized?
A: The bracelet currently fits up to approximately 19cm. We can size the bracelet before shipping, and additional links may be sourced subject to availability and potential cost. Share your wrist measurement and we’ll advise on the best fit.

Q: What’s included (box/papers) and what are your guarantees?
A: This watch is delivered without original accessories unless otherwise stated in the listing. A Retro Tale guarantees 100% authenticity, offers a 12‑month mechanical guarantee, fully insured DHL shipping, and a 14‑day return policy. Contact us if you need clarification on included items.

Q: How should I clean and care for the watch?
A: Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water with a tiny amount of mild soap on a cloth, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, perfumes and strong magnets. Replace the battery every 2–3 years or as needed, and have seals checked if you require water resistance.

Q: How can I verify authenticity and model details?
A: We thoroughly authenticate every item. This piece is Swiss‑made and carries the serial number L269905. If you’d like, we can share additional photos or help verify movement and reference details with a watchmaker.

Q: What makes the “Bulgari Bulgari” design special?
A: The double‑logo bezel is an emblematic Bvlgari signature introduced in the late 1970s, inspired by classical Roman motifs. It blends minimalist geometry with distinctive branding, resulting in a timeless, instantly recognisable aesthetic that remains a Bvlgari icon today.
