Q: What defines the Cartier Tank Française Ref. 2384 from 2012?
A: The Tank Française updated the legacy of the Tank wristwatch with a chain-link bracelet seamlessly integrated into the case. This specific Small model (20mm) is crafted in stainless steel and features a distinctive pink mother-of-pearl dial with black Roman numerals and blued-steel sword-shaped hands.

Q: Is this watch quartz or automatic?
A: This reference is powered by a reliable Cartier quartz movement. This ensures precise timekeeping and convenience, as the watch does not need to be wound if left unworn for periods of time. Battery life typically ranges from 2 to 3 years.

Q: Does it have a scratch-resistant crystal?
A: Yes, the watch is fitted with a synthetic sapphire crystal. This material is highly resistant to scratches, protecting the delicate mother-of-pearl dial and ensuring clarity over time.

Q: Will this watch fit my wrist?
A: This timepiece is sized to fit a wrist circumference of up to 18 cm, as it comes with 4 extra links included. The steel bracelet features a deployment clasp for a secure and seamless fit on the wrist.

Q: What is the condition of this specific piece?
A: The watch is in Very Good condition, showing light traces of use consistent with its age. The hardware is shiny but exhibits some scratches on the case, case back, and bracelet.

Q: Is the watch water-resistant?
A: While the Tank Française was originally designed with water resistance (typically 30 metres), we cannot guarantee the seals on a pre-owned piece from 2012 without a current pressure test. We advise treating the watch as splash-resistant only and avoiding swimming or showering with it.

Q: What is included with the purchase?
A: This is a highly desirable "full set." It includes the watch, the original box, the original certificate, and the 4 extra bracelet links.

Q: Is it authentic and do you offer a warranty?
A: Yes, A Retro Tale guarantees the authenticity of every item we sell. This watch comes with a 12-month movement warranty to cover mechanical function.
