Q: What typically fits inside the Céline Small Triomphe Vertical Cabas?
A: With approximate dimensions of 32 × 28 × 7 cm, it comfortably holds a large smartphone, continental wallet or cardholder, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft case, a small cosmetics pouch, and a 500 ml water bottle standing upright. There’s room for a compact diary or A5 notebook as well. For tailored advice for this exact piece, feel free to ask us for a quick fit check.

Q: Will it fit A4 documents, a tablet or a laptop?
A: A4 papers or a slim document sleeve fit vertically. Standard tablets (e.g., iPad/iPad Air/11-inch iPad Pro) fit easily without a bulky case. Most 13-inch laptops are generally too wide to sit flat due to the bag’s 28 cm width; very slim 12-inch devices may fit, but please compare your device’s measurements with ours or request a fit test.

Q: Is the strap adjustable and can I wear it crossbody?
A: Yes. This bag includes a detachable, adjustable leather shoulder strap (approx. 51 cm drop on this piece) for shoulder or high crossbody wear. The dual top handles (approx. 12 cm drop) are ideal for hand carry or the crook of the arm.

Q: How secure is the open-top design?
A: The open top offers easy access for daily use. For commuting or travel, we recommend keeping the bag upright and placing valuables in a small zip pouch or the interior pocket (if present) for added security. Our listing photos show the exact interior of this piece.

Q: What is the interior layout of this specific item?
A: This bag features an orange fabric lining. Pocket configuration can vary by production season; please refer to our photos to see the precise interior of this piece and contact us if you’d like additional close-ups.

Q: What materials is it made from and how durable is Triomphe canvas?
A: It’s crafted from Céline’s Triomphe coated canvas with brown leather trim and gold-tone hardware. Coated canvas is robust and resistant to light moisture; the leather trim adds structure and a premium finish. As with all luxury pieces, avoid overloading and sharp objects to preserve the silhouette and edges.

Q: How should I care for the canvas, leather and hardware?
A: Wipe the coated canvas with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Keep leather trim away from oils and colour-transfer risks (e.g., dark denim); condition sparingly with a high-quality neutral leather conditioner after testing on a discreet spot. Store the bag upright, lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag; avoid prolonged sunlight and humidity. During storage, keep hardware from rubbing against the canvas/leather to minimise hairline scratches.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This listing includes the detachable shoulder strap. If an accessory isn’t mentioned under “Accessories,” it isn’t included—contact us if you’d like us to confirm what comes with the bag.

Q: What is the condition of this specific piece?
A: Very Good overall with light traces of use. The hardware is shiny with light surface scratches. Please review our detailed photos and condition notes for a closer look.

Q: Where is it made and how do you authenticate?
A: This piece is labelled Made in Italy. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in-house experts using multi-point checks of materials, stitching, stamps, hardware and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell.
