Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Fall In Love Sac Coeur?
A: Despite its compact, heart‑shaped silhouette (approx. 22 × 16 × 7 cm), it comfortably holds a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max models), a compact wallet or cardholder, keys, AirPods, lipstick and slim sunglasses in a soft case. An A5 diary, iPad mini and a 500 ml water bottle generally do not fit comfortably due to the curved zip opening. If you’d like a tailored fit check for this exact piece, just ask and we’ll test it for you.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody, and is the strap adjustable or removable?
A: Yes. It comes with a single flat shoulder strap that is adjustable and removable (approx. 55 cm strap drop at mid setting), so it wears as a shoulder or high crossbody bag on most frames. Removing the strap lets you style it as a clutch.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: The Sac Coeur features a zip‑around closure for everyday security. Inside, you’ll find a red microfibre lining with a small slip pocket for cards or keys. We recommend keeping the bag upright and using the interior pocket for valuables when commuting.

Q: What materials and finish does this edition have, and where is it made?
A: This edition is crafted in Dragée light pink puffy lambskin with an embossed Monogram pattern and a red “lipstick‑effect” heart print, paired with gold‑tone hardware. It is labelled Made in Italy. Natural variations in leather grain and gentle signs of wear are normal for pre‑loved lambskin.

Q: How should I care for the puffy lambskin and printed heart motif?
A: Keep the leather away from moisture, oils and prolonged sunlight, and be mindful of colour transfer from dark denim onto the light pink leather. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; use a high‑quality neutral leather conditioner very sparingly (test first on a discreet area). Avoid alcohol or solvent‑based cleaners and abrasive cloths, which can dull the finish or affect the printed motif. Store the bag upright, lightly stuffed, in its dust bag, and avoid prolonged contact or pressure from the strap during storage.

Q: Will the lipstick‑effect heart print rub off over time?
A: The print is designed for normal use, but like any surface treatment it can show wear on high‑friction points (edges/corners) over time. Minimising abrasion (e.g., avoid rough surfaces, overstuffing and heavy hardware rubbing) will help preserve the motif. For any deep cleaning or touch‑ups, we recommend a reputable luxury leather specialist.

Q: Is this a limited edition and is it still produced?
A: The Sac Coeur was released as part of Louis Vuitton’s 2021 Fall In Love capsule and was produced in limited quantities; some versions were region‑exclusive. It is not part of the brand’s regular, ongoing production, so the pre‑loved market is the best way to find specific colours and finishes like this pink puffy lambskin edition.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes, and will this bag have a date code?
A: You’ll find an interior heat‑stamp (e.g., “Louis Vuitton Paris”) and the country of origin. From around March 2021, Louis Vuitton transitioned from visible date codes to an embedded microchip in many leather goods, so pieces from this capsule may not have a traditional date code. The chip’s data is readable only by Louis Vuitton; authenticity is assessed holistically rather than by the chip alone.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: For this specific listing we include: box and dust bag. The adjustable strap is part of the bag. Some Fall In Love editions originally came with additional charms (e.g., lipstick motifs), but these are only included if listed under “Accessories.” If you’d like us to reconfirm or add photos of what’s included, just let us know.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this bag?
A: Every item undergoes rigorous, multi‑point checks by our in‑house experts—materials and leather feel, stitching and construction, hardware and engraving, heat‑stamps, lining and pocket layout, print execution, and date code/microchip context for the model and year. We stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell and can provide additional close‑ups on request.
