Q: What typically fits inside the Alma BB?
A: With approximate measurements of 23 × 18 × 11 cm, it’s ideal for daily essentials: a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max models, though bulky cases may be snug), a compact wallet or cardholder, keys, lipstick, slim sunglasses in a soft case, AirPods and a small cosmetics pouch. An A5 diary/notebook fits; a 500 ml water bottle generally won’t sit upright, and an iPad mini‑sized tablet is usually a squeeze due to the curved zip opening and height. If you’d like a tailored fit check, just ask and we’ll test this exact piece.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody and is the strap adjustable?
A: Yes. This piece includes a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap with an approximate drop of 57.5 cm, allowing comfortable shoulder or high crossbody wear for most. The dual rolled top handles have about a 10 cm drop for hand or crook‑of‑arm carry. If you’d like advice on how it will sit on you, we’re happy to help.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: The bag features a zip‑around main compartment with an LV padlock and keys for added security. Inside you’ll find a beige microfibre lining and one slip pocket for small valuables. The structured base with protective studs helps the bag stand upright and keeps the bottom off surfaces.

Q: What is “Monogram Transformed Time Trunk” and what are the signature details?
A: This limited edition reimagines classic Monogram with trompe‑l’œil trunk‑inspired graphics and vintage luggage motifs, paired with black leather trim, stud accents and gold‑tone hardware. It nods to Louis Vuitton’s travel heritage while giving the Alma BB a collectible, statement look.

Q: Will a full‑length (continental) wallet fit?
A: Continental wallets typically fit only diagonally and reduce usable space; a compact wallet or cardholder is recommended for easier access and to preserve the silhouette.

Q: Where was this piece made and how can I understand the date code?
A: The interior heat‑stamp reads “Made in France,” and the date code FL2148 indicates production in approximately the 24th week of 2018. Note that Louis Vuitton transitioned from visible date codes to embedded microchips from around 2021; older pieces like this may have date codes, while newer items may not.

Q: How should I care for the coated canvas, leather trim and hardware?
A: Keep the bag away from heavy moisture, oils and prolonged sun exposure, and be mindful of colour transfer from dark denim onto lighter areas. Wipe the coated canvas and leather trim with a soft, dry cloth; condition smooth leather sparingly with a high‑quality neutral product (test first on a discreet spot). Store the bag upright, lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag, and pad the strap/handles and padlock to minimise pressure marks and hairline scratches on the hardware.

Q: Is the Alma BB heavy?
A: Despite its structured silhouette, the Alma BB is relatively light in hand. The dome shape and dual handles offer balanced carry; using the shoulder strap distributes weight comfortably for day‑to‑evening wear.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: For this specific piece we list: dust bag, detachable shoulder strap, padlock, keys and clochette under “Accessories.” If an accessory isn’t mentioned there, it isn’t included—feel free to contact us for confirmation.

We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can provide additional photos or information on request.
