RolexOyster Perpetual Date 26mm 2003 Full Set Watch

Q: Which model and year is this Rolex?
A: This is a Swiss-made Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, reference 79160, listed as a 2003 watch. It has a 26 mm case diameter and a silver colour finish.

Q: Is 26 mm a small watch size?
A: Yes, 26 mm is a compact case size, suited to those who prefer a discreet watch rather than a larger statement piece. The diameter describes the case, not the bracelet length, so check the wrist measurement separately.

Q: What wrist size will this watch fit?
A: The bracelet currently fits a wrist measuring 17 cm or smaller. If you need a different fit, ask about adjustment before purchasing. Additional bracelet links are not listed in the product information.

Q: What condition is this watch in?
A: This pre-owned watch is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior shows light traces of use, the internal condition is rated very good, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. It is not described as unworn or scratch-free.

Q: What is included in the full set?
A: The product information lists a box, outer box, manual, certificate and tag. These are the items included with this particular full set; anything not listed should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Is this Rolex automatic or battery-powered?
A: Reference 79160 uses a self-winding mechanical movement rather than a battery. Wrist movement winds the watch during wear, and it can also be wound manually when needed.

Q: What should I do if the watch stops after not being worn?
A: An automatic watch can stop when its stored power runs down. Manually wind it and set the time before wearing it again, following the included manual. Always screw the crown securely back against the case afterwards.

Q: Can I swim or shower while wearing this watch?
A: Current water resistance is not confirmed in the product information. Do not assume that a pre-owned watch retains its original water resistance. Keep this watch out of water unless a qualified watchmaker has checked its seals and confirmed its suitability through pressure testing.

Q: Has this watch recently been serviced?
A: A service date or service history is not provided. The very good internal condition rating does not establish when it was last serviced. Ask for any available service records, and consult a qualified watchmaker if you need advice on maintenance.

Q: How should I clean and care for this watch?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft cloth after wear. As its current water resistance is unconfirmed, avoid rinsing or immersing it for cleaning. Keep the crown securely screwed down after adjustment, and use a qualified watchmaker for servicing or a more thorough clean.
