BalenciagaMotocross Giant City Bag

Q: What does Giant mean on this Balenciaga Motocross Giant City Bag?
A: Giant refers to the oversized signature hardware and studs that give the City bag a bolder, more statement-making look than standard versions. On this piece, the hardware is silver-tone, which complements the black leather nicely.

Q: What typically fits inside this bag?
A: With measurements of 37 x 23 x 13 cm, this bag is well suited to daily essentials such as a phone, long wallet, keys, sunglasses case, small cosmetics pouch, and a compact umbrella. It may also suit a small tablet or e-reader, but we recommend comparing your own items to the listed measurements for the best idea of capacity.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: Yes, it has dual top handles as well as a detachable shoulder strap. With a handle drop of 18 cm and strap drop of 40 cm, it is best suited to hand carry, arm carry, or shoulder carry. It is not generally considered a long crossbody style.

Q: Does this bag have a secure closure and interior organisation?
A: Yes, it features a top zip closure and a black canvas-lined interior with one internal pocket for smaller essentials. This makes it practical for everyday use while keeping the classic relaxed City silhouette.

Q: Will it fit a laptop?
A: Probably not most standard laptops comfortably. This size is better for everyday essentials and possibly a small tablet or very compact device. For the most accurate fit, please compare your device measurements with the bag dimensions shown on this page.

Q: What is included in the product information?
A: This item includes a dust bag and a detachable shoulder strap. Everything included with the bag is listed in the product information, so if another item is not mentioned there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: It is listed in good condition overall. There are signs of wear on the corners, edges, and handles, as well as stains and wear on the inside. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches. We recommend reviewing all photos carefully for the best understanding of its vintage character.

Q: How should I care for the leather and hardware?
A: We recommend wiping the bag gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoiding harsh chemicals, excess moisture, and prolonged direct sunlight or heat. When not in use, store it in its dust bag and consider lightly stuffing it to help maintain its shape. For deeper cleaning or restoration, a leather specialist is the safest option.

Q: How do you authenticate a Balenciaga City bag?
A: Authenticating a Balenciaga City bag involves checking the leather quality, construction, hardware, stamps, and other model-specific details together rather than relying on one feature alone. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully reviewed by our experts, so you can shop with confidence.
