Q: Is this Cartier Amulette de Cartier bracelet authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What materials is it made from?
A: This bracelet is crafted in 18‑karat yellow gold with a mother‑of‑pearl inlay and a central brilliant‑cut diamond, finished on a fine link chain with a lobster clasp. Please review our close‑up photos and Features section for confirmation of composition.

Q: What are the measurements and will it fit my wrist?
A: The bracelet has a listed wearable perimeter of approximately 15.5 cm. The amulet element measures about 1.2 cm (height) × 1.2 cm (width) × 0.2 cm (depth). For the best fit, measure your wrist snugly and compare to the 15.5 cm perimeter—message us if you’d like additional measurements or fit guidance.

Q: Is the length adjustable or can it be resized?
A: The bracelet is designed with a fixed chain length and lobster clasp; adjustment points may be limited. A competent jeweller can usually add a short extender or remove a link for a closer fit. Any alteration may affect originality and resale value—ask us for advice before modifying.

Q: Can I wear it every day and is it water‑safe?
A: 18k gold is well‑suited to regular wear, but the mother‑of‑pearl is an organic material that is sensitive to moisture, perfume, lotions and household chemicals. We recommend removing the bracelet before showering, swimming, exercising or applying products, and avoiding hard knocks to protect the inlay and diamond setting.

Q: How should I care for the mother‑of‑pearl and gold?
A: After wear, gently wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Keep it dry and avoid ultrasonic cleaners, chemical dips and abrasive cloths. Store it separately in a pouch or box to prevent scratches and minimise friction on the mother‑of‑pearl surface.

Q: What hallmarks or stamps should I expect?
A: Cartier fine jewellery typically bears the Cartier signature, a gold fineness mark such as “Au 750” for 18k, a serial number, and often a country of origin stamp (e.g., France). Placement varies by piece; our listing photos show any stamps present on this bracelet.

Q: Is it suitable for sensitive skin? Is there any nickel?
A: 18‑karat yellow gold alloys are generally nickel‑free and well‑tolerated by most wearers. If you have metal sensitivities, monitor comfort and discontinue wear if irritation occurs; we’re happy to advise further if needed.

Q: Can Cartier service or polish this bracelet?
A: Cartier boutiques and authorised workshops may offer inspection, polishing and certain repairs at their discretion. Mother‑of‑pearl cannot be repolished like metal, so care is essential. We can recommend reputable specialists if you’d like servicing options for a pre‑owned piece.

Q: What condition should I expect, what is included, and can I return it?
A: This bracelet is graded Very Good Condition with light signs of careful wear possible unless otherwise noted. This listing includes no accessories unless specifically shown or stated. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please see our Returns page for eligibility, timeframes and conditions, and ensure the item is returned in the same condition received.
