Q: What colour and finish is this Chanel CC Patent Grand Shopping Tote?
A: This bag is black with a glossy patent finish. It is listed as the Classic variant of the Grand Shopping Tote.

Q: What are the measurements of this bag?
A: The listed measurements are 33 cm wide, 15 cm high and 17 cm deep. Use these item-specific dimensions when assessing whether it suits your needs, rather than measurements for other Grand Shopping Tote versions.

Q: What can I carry inside, and will it fit a laptop?
A: Use the listed dimensions as a guide for everyday essentials such as a phone, purse, keys and a small cosmetics pouch. Capacity depends on the size of your belongings and the usable interior space. Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this item, so do not assume it will accommodate your device.

Q: What condition is this vintage Chanel tote in?
A: It is in good pre-owned condition. The exterior has minor signs of wear on the corners, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs alongside these condition notes.

Q: When was this bag made?
A: The product information dates this bag to 1996–1997 and lists a masked serial number beginning with 4. This makes it a vintage piece from the 1990s.

Q: Where was this Chanel bag made?
A: The country of origin and origin label are both listed as France.

Q: Does it come with an authenticity card, box or dust bag?
A: The product information lists a serial number tag. An authenticity card, box and dust bag are not listed, so please do not assume they are included. Ask for confirmation if any of these items is important to your purchase.

Q: How should I clean the patent finish?
A: Gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth. Avoid care products that could alter the finish. If the bag gets wet, carefully blot it with an absorbent, lint-free cloth. For persistent marks, seek specialist advice rather than attempting aggressive cleaning.

Q: How should I store this vintage patent bag?
A: Store it upright in a protective fabric pouch, away from excessive sunlight and heat. Avoid overfilling it, and protect any chains or straps with tissue paper to reduce contact marks. Patent leather is delicate despite its glossy appearance, so handle and store it with care.
