Dimensions & Specifications

Q: How can I carry this bag?
A: The Easy Carry design offers a top handle for handheld carrying and a leather-threaded chain strap for shoulder wear. The strap drop is not provided for this particular bag, so crossbody suitability cannot be confirmed; please ask for measurements if this is important to you.

Q: What fits inside, and will it hold a laptop?
A: The Jumbo designation indicates a larger size within the range, but exact dimensions and laptop compatibility are not provided for this item. Please request measurements before purchasing if you need to accommodate a particular device, purse or other essentials.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: Is this a single-flap or double-flap bag?
A: This Chanel Classic Jumbo Easy Carry is listed as a Single Flap model. It has one main flap rather than the additional inner flap found on double-flap designs.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: The bag is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior has creasing on the handle, minor corner wear and fraying to the leather chain strap. The interior shows light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What colour is this bag, and where was it made?
A: This bag is black, and its country of origin is listed as France.

Q: Does it come with a box, dust bag or authenticity card?
A: The product information lists a serial number tag. A box, dust bag and authenticity card are not listed, so please do not assume these are included.

Q: How should I clean and protect this bag?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft cloth and avoid cleaning products that could alter its finish. Protect it from prolonged sunlight, heat and water. If it gets wet, carefully blot the affected area with an absorbent, non-pilling cloth. Given the recorded strap fraying, avoid pulling loose fibres or attempting repairs yourself.

Q: How should I store it when not in use?
A: Store the bag upright in a protective pouch, lightly filled with tissue paper to help preserve its shape. Wrap the chain and strap in tissue paper to prevent them from marking the bag, and avoid overfilling or placing heavy items on top.
