Q: What can I fit inside it?
A: Based on its dimensions, it is best suited to a small selection of essentials, such as a phone, slim cardholder, keys and lipstick. Fit depends on the size of your belongings and the usable interior space; its shallow depth makes bulky items less practical. Avoid overfilling it.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?

Q: Why is it called the Chanel East West Chocolate Bar Bag?
A: Chocolate Bar refers to the square quilting, which resembles the segments of a chocolate bar, rather than the bag’s colour. East West describes its elongated horizontal shape. This particular bag is beige.

Q: What are the dimensions of this bag?
A: It measures 26 cm wide, 13 cm high and 4 cm deep. The listed strap measurement is 34 cm.

A: The East West Chocolate Bar model is primarily designed for shoulder wear rather than crossbody use. This bag has a listed strap measurement of 34 cm; how it sits will depend on your build and clothing. Do not assume it will offer a comfortable crossbody fit.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior has minor rubbing on the flap edge, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What comes with this bag?
A: The product information lists an authenticity card and a serial number tag. A box and dust bag are not listed, so please do not assume they are included.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin is listed as France.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: Avoid overfilling it and prolonged exposure to sunlight, humidity, perfume and cosmetics. Store it upright in a protective pouch, with tissue paper protecting any straps or chains from pressing against the bag. As the material is not specified in the product information, seek material-specific advice before applying cleaning or conditioning products.

Q: How can I help protect the beige colour from dye transfer?
A: Avoid prolonged rubbing against dark or strongly dyed clothing. Chanel advises limiting contact between light and dark colours to reduce the risk of colour transfer. If marks appear, seek specialist advice rather than experimenting with household cleaners.
