FoxeyCorsage Brooch

Q: How large is this Foxey Corsage Brooch?
A: This is a statement-sized brooch measuring approximately 9.5 cm high, 13.5 cm wide, and 3.5 cm deep. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most accurate dimensions.

Q: How can I style a corsage brooch like this?
A: A corsage brooch works beautifully on a blazer lapel, coat, knitwear, dress, scarf, or hat. Because this piece has a larger silhouette, it is especially well suited to occasionwear or as a focal accessory on simple outfits.

Q: Will a brooch of this size work on delicate fabrics?
A: Larger brooches are usually best on more structured fabrics such as wool, tweed, denim, thicker knits, or tailored jackets. If you plan to wear it on delicate materials, handle it carefully and test the placement first to help avoid strain or visible pin marks.

Q: What condition is this brooch in?
A: This piece is listed in Very Good Condition. The exterior shows a minor mark, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle pre-owned wear.

Q: Does this brooch come with a box, dust bag, or other extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories. If any extras are included, they will always be stated in the product information.

Q: Is this brooch authentic?
A: Yes. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully inspected and authenticated by specialists before sale. We stand behind the authenticity of every piece we offer.

Q: How should I store the brooch when not in use?
A: Store it separately in a dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity, and friction from other jewellery. Keeping it protected when not worn can help preserve the finish and reduce the risk of scratches or snagging.

Q: How should I care for a pre-owned brooch like this?
A: Handle it gently and wipe it carefully with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Avoid perfume, hairspray, moisture, and harsh cleaning products, as these can affect both the decorative surface and the hardware over time.

Q: Is a corsage brooch meant to be worn on its own or layered?
A: Either can work, depending on the look you want. A larger corsage brooch like this one makes a strong statement on its own, while some wearers also like pairing floral brooches with other accessories for a more styled, fashion-led finish.
