Louis VuittonDamier Ebene Vavin PM Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Vavin PM Bag?
A: With the listed measurements of approximately 19 x 13 x 5 cm, it is best suited to compact daily essentials such as a mobile phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick and other small items. A bulky long wallet, sunglasses case or larger pouch may be a tight fit, so we recommend comparing your essentials with the Measurements shown on this page.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: This piece has a chain strap with an approximate drop of 53 cm. For most people, that makes it well suited to shoulder wear, and on some frames it may also work as a longer crossbody-style carry. Fit can feel quite long on more petite frames, so the strap measurement is the best guide.

Q: Is the Vavin PM better as a day bag or an evening bag?
A: It transitions very well from day to evening. The structured flap silhouette, chain strap and polished hardware give it a dressier look, while the coated canvas keeps it practical for more regular use.

Q: Does the bag stay structured when in use?
A: The Vavin PM has a structured look, but like many compact chain bags it tends to look its best when packed lightly. Slim essentials will help it keep a neater shape, while overfilling or carrying heavier items may make it feel less crisp over time.

Q: Does it have interior organisation?
A: Yes. This bag has a red-lined interior with an interior pocket, which is useful for keeping smaller essentials a little more organised. As with most compact flap bags, it works best with slim items rather than bulkier pieces.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is listed as Very Good. Externally there are light traces of use, the interior shows light traces of use with minor marks, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Will the hardware show signs of wear easily?
A: Minor hairline scratches on hardware are quite normal with this style of flap bag, especially around the closure. On this specific piece, the hardware is described as shiny with light scratches only.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This listing states that no additional items are included with the bag. If you would like to double-check what comes with this specific piece, please refer to the product information shown on the page.

Q: What does the date code CA4240 tell me?
A: Louis Vuitton used date codes on many bags made before the move to microchips. CA4240 is consistent with a 2020 production date. As with all Louis Vuitton date codes, it should be viewed as one detail only and not as standalone proof of authenticity.

Q: How should I care for Damier Ebene canvas and leather trim?
A: To keep the bag looking its best, avoid overfilling it, protect it from rough or abrasive surfaces, and keep it away from heat, oils, perfume and harsh cleaning products. A soft, slightly damp cloth is usually best for light surface cleaning, and the bag should be stored in a breathable, ventilated space when not in use.
