Q: What are the dimensions of this bag?
A: This bag measures 36 cm wide, 27 cm high and 5 cm deep. The handle measurement is 10 cm.

Q: Will this bag fit my laptop?
A: Laptop compatibility has not been confirmed for this particular bag. Compare your laptop’s dimensions, including any protective sleeve, with the bag’s external measurements of 36 × 27 × 5 cm. The usable interior and opening will be smaller, so screen size alone is not a reliable guide to fit.

Q: Is it suitable for everyday work essentials?
A: Its slim briefcase format is suited to documents, a notebook and smaller essentials such as a phone and wallet. The 5 cm depth makes it better suited to a light workday load than bulky books or an overnight change of clothes. Actual capacity depends on the size and arrangement of your belongings.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

We ship all orders from Sweden. Depending on your country’s import regulations, your order may be subject to customs duties, VAT, GST, or other local taxes upon arrival.

These charges are typically collected by the shipping carrier at the time of delivery and are not included in the product price.

RETURNS

A Retro Tale offers 14 days return policy upon receipt of your order.

In order to request a return, please email [email protected] with your order number and state ”return request” in your email. From there, our Customer Support will confirm that your return request has been approved and further instructions will be provided by email.

Please note that the return shipping fee is covered by the returnee and all return shippings to A Retro Tale must be traceable. Thus, please retain your receipt of shipping and tracking number until your return has been completed and you have received your refund.

Q: What are the dimensions of this bag?
A: This bag measures 36 cm wide, 27 cm high and 5 cm deep. The handle measurement is 10 cm.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is in Very Good Condition. Both the exterior and interior show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No shoulder strap is included with this item. It can be carried using its top handles; do not assume that a strap shown with another version of the model is included here.

Q: Are a dust bag, box or other accessories included?
A: No accessories are included, as stated in the product information.

Q: Is Damier Graphite canvas leather?
A: Damier Graphite is Louis Vuitton’s coated canvas with a distinctive dark chequerboard pattern, rather than an all-leather material. The Porte-Documents Voyage design combines this canvas with leather trim.

Q: Where was this particular bag made?
A: The country of origin recorded for this item is France.

Q: How should I clean and store this bag?
A: Gently wipe surface dirt from the canvas with a soft, lightly damp cloth, without scrubbing or soaking it. Avoid oils, leather lotions, solvents and harsh cleaning products on the canvas. Keep the bag away from direct heat, strong sunlight and damp conditions, and store it in a breathable protective bag purchased separately, as no accessories are included.
