Louis VuittonMonogram Alma BB Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Alma BB Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 24 x 18 x 12 cm, this bag is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, compact wallet, keys, lipstick, tissues, sunglasses and a few small extras. It is compact rather than roomy, so bulkier pouches or larger purses may make it feel full quite quickly.

Q: How can this bag be carried?
A: This Alma BB can be carried by hand using its dual rolled handles or worn with the detachable shoulder strap. The handle drop is approximately 11 cm and the strap drop is approximately 53 cm, so it can suit shoulder or crossbody wear depending on your height and preferred fit.

Q: Is the Alma BB a good everyday bag?
A: Yes, the Alma BB is widely loved as a compact everyday style because of its structured shape, zipped top and classic design. It works especially well if you prefer to carry the essentials rather than larger daily items.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This piece is in good pre-owned condition. The Vachetta leather shows visible patina, with watermarks and scuffing on the base and trim. Inside there are light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches and the zipper is slightly dull. Please review the product images carefully for the clearest view of wear.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: The product information for this item includes the box, dust bag, detachable shoulder strap, padlock, keys and clochette. If you would like confirmation of any included item before purchase, feel free to contact us.

Q: Will the bag fit a larger smartphone?
A: In most cases, yes. Alma BB styles are generally sized to hold a modern smartphone along with a few essentials. Because the bag has a structured silhouette and a curved zip opening, slimmer items are usually the easiest to organise inside.

Q: How should I care for the Monogram canvas and Vachetta leather?
A: Keep the bag away from rain, damp conditions, direct sunlight, strong heat, oils, perfume and alcohol-based products. If needed, wipe the surface gently with a soft, light-coloured cloth and store it in its dust bag when not in use. As Vachetta is untreated leather, patina, darkening and watermarks can develop naturally over time.

Q: Does this bag have a serial number or date code?
A: This listing does not specify a serial number or date code. Many older Louis Vuitton bags feature date codes, while some newer pieces use other identification methods. If this detail is important to you, please contact us and we can check the item further before purchase.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully checked by experts for materials, construction, hardware, stamps and other brand-specific details. We stand behind the authenticity of the items we sell and are happy to answer product-specific questions before purchase.
