Louis VuittonMonogram Pochette Accessoires

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Pochette Accessoires?
A: With approximate dimensions of 22 × 13 × 4 cm, it’s ideal for daily essentials: a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max models, though bulky cases may be snug), a compact wallet or cardholder, keys, lipstick, and small items like AirPods. Long continental wallets can fit but will significantly reduce available space. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for this exact piece or contact us for a tailored fit check.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody? Is the strap adjustable?
A: This vintage Pochette Accessoires comes with a single short flat shoulder strap designed for hand or snug shoulder carry; our listing shows an approximate strap drop of 14 cm. It is not adjustable. Many owners add a separate longer strap or chain (not included) for crossbody wear—if you choose to do this, attach to the bag’s metal hardware and avoid clipping weight to the zip pull to minimise stress.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: It features a zip‑top main compartment for everyday security with brown textile lining. Vintage Pochette Accessoires models typically have a simple single compartment; our photos show the exact interior of this piece.

Q: Is this the same as the Mini Pochette Accessoires?
A: No—the Mini Pochette is a smaller pouch designed mainly for small essentials (cards, keys, cosmetics). The Pochette Accessoires (this item) is larger and functions as a compact shoulder bag or clutch, fitting a smartphone and more. If you’re unsure which suits your needs, we’re happy to advise.

Q: What materials and hardware does this piece have?
A: This bag is crafted in Louis Vuitton’s Monogram coated canvas with untreated vachetta leather trim and gold‑tone hardware, lined in brown textile. Coated canvas is durable and water‑resistant; vachetta leather will develop a natural patina with use, which is part of its charm.

Q: How should I care for the vachetta leather and canvas?
A: Keep the bag away from heavy rain and oils, and be mindful of colour transfer from dark denim. If the leather gets lightly wet, blot gently (don’t rub) with a soft cloth and allow to air‑dry away from heat. Wipe canvas and hardware with a soft, dry cloth; condition smooth leather sparingly with a high‑quality neutral product after testing on a discreet area. Store upright, lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag, and avoid prolonged pressure from the strap on the leather when stored.

Q: What does the code “CA 1022” mean?
A: Louis Vuitton uses production/date codes rather than unique serial numbers. The letters typically indicate the factory location (CA corresponds to Spain), and the numbers indicate the production period in older formats. This aligns with the “Made in Spain” stamp on this piece. We can provide close‑up photos of the code and stamps on request.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: This item is labelled “Made in Spain,” consistent with the CA factory code noted above.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: This listing is sold as the bag only; no additional accessories are included unless specifically stated under “Accessories.” If you need a longer strap, we can suggest suitable third‑party options.

Q: How do you authenticate this item?
A: Every piece at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, logo stamps, production/date code and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can share additional photos or details on request.
