Q: What are the dimensions of the Louis Vuitton Monogram Satellite 53 Suitcase?
A: This suitcase measures approximately 53 cm wide × 40 cm high × 16 cm deep. These measurements can help you assess its suitability for your packing needs and travel plans.

Q: Can I use this suitcase as cabin luggage?
A: Its listed dimensions fall within some airlines’ cabin-baggage size limits, but acceptance is not guaranteed. Check your airline’s current allowance for your booking and measure the packed suitcase, including its handle and any protruding parts, before travelling.

Q: Does this suitcase come with a shoulder strap?
A: Yes, this suitcase includes a shoulder strap, allowing an alternative to carrying it by the top handle. The listed strap measurement is 57 cm.

Q: What items are included with this suitcase?
A: The product information lists a shoulder strap and a luggage tag. A padlock, keys, dust bag and box are not listed, so please do not assume they are included.

Q: What condition is this vintage suitcase in?
A: This piece is in Very Good Condition. Both the exterior and interior show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. It is a pre-owned item rather than a new suitcase.

Q: Where was this suitcase made?
A: The country of origin is listed as France. The recorded code for this particular piece is VI1917.

Q: Is the Monogram exterior leather or canvas?
A: The Satellite 53 model has a Monogram coated-canvas exterior with natural cowhide leather trim and a leather top handle. The patterned canvas should not be treated with leather conditioners.

Q: How should I clean and care for this suitcase?
A: Gently wipe the coated canvas with a soft, damp cloth and slightly soapy water, keeping the leather trim dry. If the natural leather gets wet, blot it promptly with a light-coloured, lint-free cloth. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners, oils and leather lotions. Store the suitcase away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
