Q: What is the size of this watch and how does it wear on the wrist?
A: The case measures 15 mm across in a square profile, creating a petite, jewellery‑style presence. It suits smaller wrists and pairs elegantly with bracelets or bangles for daily wear.

Q: Will it fit my wrist, and can you adjust it before shipping?
A: As listed, it fits a wrist of up to approximately 14 cm and includes 3 extra links. If you share your snug wrist measurement at checkout, we can advise on sizing and help ensure a comfortable fit before dispatch.

Q: What movement does it use and how often does the battery need replacing?
A: It has an Omega quartz movement. Typical battery life is around 2 years, though usage and ambient conditions can affect this. Many Omega quartz models display an end‑of‑life indicator where the seconds hand jumps in multi‑second steps—this signals it is time to replace the battery. We recommend a professional battery change to preserve gaskets and water‑resistance.

Q: Is it water‑resistant and can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?
A: Period‑correct Constellation models of this style were commonly rated to 30 m. However, as a vintage piece from circa 1998, water‑resistance cannot be guaranteed without a recent pressure test. We recommend avoiding showering, bathing, or swimming and having seals tested after any battery change or service.

Q: Can the integrated bracelet be swapped for a leather or rubber strap?
A: This design uses an integrated stainless‑steel bracelet, so strap changes are not straightforward and usually require specific adapters. Most owners keep the original bracelet for the best fit and look.

Q: What comes with the watch?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information on this page. For this piece, a box is included. If items such as papers or a certificate are not shown under product information, they are not included—feel free to ask us to confirm.

Q: What is the reference number and approximate production year?
A: The reference is 1531.74 and the production period is circa 1998, aligning with the late‑1990s Constellation design language.

Q: How do you authenticate this watch?
A: Each watch is vetted by our specialists using multi‑point checks of case and bracelet construction, dial and hands, movement, stamps/engravings, and period‑correct reference details. We stand behind the authenticity of every item we sell and can share further findings on request.

Q: Any care tips for owning a vintage Omega quartz watch?
A: Keep it dry, avoid magnetic fields and extreme temperatures, and store it in a padded box when not worn. Plan on a battery change roughly every 2–3 years and a full check‑up/service at sensible intervals to refresh gaskets and maintain reliability. Always have water‑resistance tested after any opening of the case.
