PradaSaffiano Galleria Tote Bag

Q: What fits inside this Prada Saffiano Galleria Tote Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 33 x 23 x 14 cm, this medium tote is well suited to everyday essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, cosmetics pouch and a small notebook or tablet. Capacity depends on how you organise your items, so please compare the measurements with the items you plan to carry.

Q: Can it be carried by hand or worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This bag has dual handles with an approximate 16 cm drop, plus a detachable shoulder strap with an approximate 58 cm drop. That gives you the option to carry it by hand or wear it on the shoulder; whether it sits crossbody will depend on your height and preferred fit.

Q: What is Saffiano leather and is it durable?
A: Saffiano leather is Prada’s signature crosshatch leather, prized for its structured finish and everyday practicality. It is known for being more resistant to scratches and light moisture than many smooth leathers, which is one reason the Galleria remains such a popular daily bag.

Q: Is the Prada Galleria a good everyday bag?
A: Yes, the Galleria is widely loved for daily use because it combines a polished, structured silhouette with practical capacity and easy organisation. This medium size works especially well if you want a refined tote that feels smart enough for work, lunch meetings or weekend wear.

Q: Does this specific bag have a zip-top closure?
A: No. According to the product information for this particular piece, it has an open top rather than a full zip closure. Inside, it features tonal logo jacquard lining and internal pockets to help keep smaller items organised.

Q: What accessories are included with this bag?
A: This item includes a detachable shoulder strap. Everything included is listed in the product information, so if an item is not mentioned there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This piece is listed in very good condition overall. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: How should I care for pre-owned Saffiano leather?
A: For routine care, gently wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth and store the bag in a well-ventilated place away from heat and moisture. Avoid harsh cleaning agents, oils and overfilling, as these can affect the leather, lining and structure over time.

Q: Is this an authentic Prada bag?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage and second-hand designer pieces, and this item is sold as an authentic Prada bag. The product information also lists Italy as the country of origin.
