Q: What does the Elsa Peretti Bean design represent?
A: Elsa Peretti’s Bean design for Tiffany & Co. symbolises the origins of life. Its smooth, organic shape reflects her inspiration from the natural world.

Q: How long is this necklace?
A: This necklace measures 38 cm in circumference. To check your preferred fit, compare this measurement with a necklace you already own.

Q: What size is the Bean pendant?
A: The pendant dimensions are not specified in the product information. The Bean design comes in several sizes, so please contact A Retro Tale for confirmation rather than assuming this piece matches a current model.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned necklace in?
A: This necklace is in Very Good Condition, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, so some signs of previous wear should be expected.

Q: Does this necklace come with a box or pouch?
A: A dust bag is listed in the product information. A box and authenticity card are not listed as included.

Q: Can I wear this necklace every day, including in the shower?
A: Tiffany encourages regular wear of its silver jewellery, but recommends removing it before showering, bathing, swimming, exercising or doing household chores. Avoid contact with lotions, fragrances and strong cleaning chemicals.

Q: Can Tiffany silver jewellery tarnish?
A: Yes. Silver can tarnish over time, particularly when exposed to humidity, perspiration, salty air, chlorine and cosmetics. Gentle cleaning and dry storage help preserve its shine.

Q: How should I clean this silver necklace?
A: Use a silver jewellery cleaner suitable for the piece, applied sparingly to a soft cloth, and rub gently. Follow the cleaner’s instructions; Tiffany’s guidance recommends rinsing thoroughly in warm water and drying carefully after cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals and seek professional advice if you are unsure about treating the existing scratches.

Q: How should I store the necklace?
A: Store it clean and completely dry in a soft pouch, away from humidity and strong chemicals. Keep it separate from other jewellery to minimise rubbing and scratches, and lay the chain neatly to reduce tangling.
