Tiffany & CoHardWear Large Link Earrings

Q: What are these Tiffany & Co. HardWear Large Link Earrings made from?
A: This pair is made from sterling silver. The HardWear line is known for its bold gauge-link design, and this version offers the collection’s signature sculptural look in a bright silver finish.

Q: What size are these earrings?
A: These earrings are listed as size Large. The measurements for this pair are approximately 3.5 cm in height, 1.3 cm in width and 1.3 cm in depth, so they have a noticeable drop and a strong statement look.

Q: Are these earrings suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes, they can work well for everyday wear if you enjoy statement jewellery. Tiffany describes the large link style as comfortable and easy to wear, but because this is a larger drop design, it will feel more substantial than small studs or petite hoops.

Q: Do Tiffany HardWear Large Link Earrings feel heavy?
A: They are designed as statement earrings, so they have more presence than lighter everyday styles. Many buyers love the bold look, though some shoppers comparing HardWear sizes mention that the larger versions can feel more noticeable during very long wear. If you prefer a delicate, barely-there feel, this style may feel weightier than simpler earrings.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned pair in?
A: This pair is in Very Good Condition. The listing notes light trace of use, and the hardware is described as shiny with light scratches. Please also review the product images for the closest view of the current condition.

Q: Do these earrings come with a box or other extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this pair comes with no accessories. If an original box, pouch or other extras are not listed in the product information, they are not included with this item.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish over time?
A: Yes, sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time, especially when exposed to moisture, sulphur, chlorine or household chemicals. Regular gentle wear and proper storage can help keep the finish looking bright for longer.

Q: How should I care for these sterling silver earrings?
A: Wipe them gently with a soft polishing cloth after wear and store them in a dry place away from humidity and harsh chemicals. It is best to remove them before showering, swimming, exercising or applying perfume and hairspray. A proper silver cleaner can be used carefully when needed.

Q: What is special about the Tiffany HardWear collection?
A: HardWear is one of Tiffany’s most recognisable modern collections, inspired by a 1962 bracelet from the House archives. It is loved for its bold link motif, strong New York attitude and versatile styling that works both day and evening.

Q: How do you authenticate pre-owned Tiffany jewellery?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is carefully checked for authenticity by specialists who examine details such as materials, hallmarks, finish, craftsmanship and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of the pieces we offer.
