Q: What are the exact measurements of the Valentino Small Locò Bag?
A: The Small Locò measures approximately 20 × 11 × 5 cm. The top-handle drop is about 11 cm and the detachable crossbody strap has a drop of around 55 cm for comfortable shoulder or crossbody wear.

Q: How can I wear this bag?
A: Three ways: by the detachable top handle, on the shoulder, or crossbody using the detachable, adjustable strap. The compact baguette silhouette sits neatly under the arm or across the body.

Q: What typically fits inside?
A: Daily essentials such as a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max sizes), a cardholder or small wallet, keys, lipstick, and a few small items. Bulky cases for sunglasses, water bottles, or long make-up bags will not fit comfortably due to the slim 5 cm depth.

Q: What type of closure does it have and is it secure?
A: It features a magnetic flap closure integrated with the VLogo hardware. It opens quickly yet closes securely when you press the flap down, keeping contents in place during daily wear.

Q: What is Valentino’s Toile Iconographe velvet, and how should I care for it?
A: Toile Iconographe is the house’s monogram rendered as a jacquard fabric; in this version it has a soft velvet finish with leather trim. To care for it, avoid rain and humidity, keep it away from abrasive surfaces, gently brush the nap with a soft clothes brush if it looks flattened, and store it stuffed in a breathable dust bag away from direct light. Use a dry microfibre cloth for light surface dust and consult a professional for stains.

Q: Is the strap adjustable and removable?
A: Yes. This piece comes with a detachable, adjustable leather crossbody strap and a detachable top handle, allowing you to tailor the drop and the carry style.

Q: Will my iPhone Pro Max fit?
A: Yes. With a 20 cm width, the compartment accommodates large phones horizontally, plus a few small essentials. A very thick phone case may reduce remaining space.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information on this page. For this bag, the product information specifies a detachable shoulder strap. Items such as a dust bag or box are only included if explicitly stated in the product information.

Q: Where is it made?
A: Valentino Garavani Locò bags are crafted in Italy, and this piece carries an Italy origin label.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this bag?
A: Every item is carefully examined by our in‑house specialists using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, and construction details. We stand behind the authenticity of all products and can share additional photos or information on request.
