Q: What typically fits inside the Balenciaga Nano Medium Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 28 × 25 × 12 cm, it’s ideal for daily essentials: a large smartphone, continental wallet, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft case, wireless earbuds and a small cosmetics pouch. A compact umbrella or a 500 ml bottle usually fits best laid horizontally. Capacity can vary slightly by production year and how you pack—please refer to the Measurements on this page for this exact piece.

Q: Will it fit a tablet or A4 documents?
A: Most standard tablets up to around 11 inches (e.g., iPad Air/11‑inch iPad Pro without a bulky case) typically fit. A4 documents (29.7 × 21 cm) generally do not lie fully flat due to the 28 cm width and flap structure; an A5 diary/notebook fits comfortably. If you share your device’s dimensions, we can test the fit in this exact bag.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody and is the strap adjustable?
A: This piece includes a detachable shoulder strap with an approximate 58 cm drop for shoulder or high crossbody wear on many frames. Strap adjustability can vary by season and retailer; please check our photos and description for this specific item or ask us to confirm the exact strap settings. The top handle has an approximate 14 cm drop for hand or crook‑of‑arm carry.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the pocket layout?
A: The bag features a flap with BB logo and a magnetic fastening for everyday security. Inside you’ll find a main compartment with a flat slip pocket for small valuables, and there’s a zipped pocket on the back for quick‑access items. Our listing photos show the exact layout of this piece.

Q: What materials and hardware does this bag have, and where is it made?
A: It’s crafted in smooth black leather with gold‑toned hardware and lined in black leather. This piece is labelled Made in Italy. Natural variations in leather grain and gentle signs of wear are normal for a pre‑loved item and are noted under Condition.

Q: Is it heavy to carry?
A: The Nano Medium is structured yet not overly heavy for day‑to‑evening wear. If weight is important to you, we’re happy to provide an exact scale weight for this specific item on request.

Q: How should I care for the leather and hardware?
A: Keep the bag dry and away from heavy rain; if it becomes lightly wet, blot (don’t rub) with a soft cloth and air‑dry away from heat. Wipe leather with a soft, dry cloth and condition sparingly with a high‑quality neutral product after testing on a discreet area. Be mindful of colour transfer from dark denim onto black or lighter leathers. Store upright, lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag; avoid hanging by the strap for long periods and pad hardware to minimise hairline scratches.

Q: Is this model still produced?
A: The Nano Medium handbag has appeared at multi‑brand stockists in recent seasons, though details (dimensions, strap type, interior layout) can vary by season. The pre‑loved market is the best way to find a specific configuration like this exact piece.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes typically found?
A: Authentic Balenciaga bags usually feature a “BALENCIAGA” heat‑stamp and country of origin inside, with an internal leather tag and style/serial information (format and placement vary by model and year). If you’d like close‑up photos of the stamps and codes for this item, just ask and we’ll share them.

Q: What accessories are included and how is authenticity guaranteed?
A: For this listing we include the detachable shoulder strap as noted under “Accessories.” If an accessory isn’t mentioned there, it isn’t included. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts—assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps/codes and overall construction—and we stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell.
