Q: What are the measurements of this Céline Boogie Bag?
A: Approx. 33 × 20 × 14 cm with a handle drop of about 10 cm. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact dimensions of this specific piece.

Q: What typically fits inside day to day?
A: A long wallet, smartphone, keys, sunglasses case, a small cosmetics pouch, and a 500 ml water bottle laid horizontally fit comfortably. It also takes a compact umbrella and other small essentials without losing its structured shape.

Q: Will a tablet or A4 documents fit?
A: An iPad mini or similarly sized tablet fits easily. A 10–11 inch tablet may fit horizontally if in a slim case, but A4 folders and 13 inch laptops are not recommended. For certainty, compare your device to the listed measurements and opening.

Q: Is the Boogie still produced by Céline?
A: The Boogie debuted in the early 2000s and is widely considered a discontinued, vintage style today. It is most commonly found on the pre‑loved market in various leathers and colours.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: The classic Boogie is designed as a handheld top‑handle bag. This piece does not include a shoulder strap and is intended to be carried by hand or in the crook of the arm (approx. 10 cm handle drop).

Q: How is the interior organised?
A: It has an open top with a central zipped compartment, additional internal pockets, and two external side pockets—handy for items you want to reach quickly.

Q: Is the open‑top design secure?
A: Use the central zipped compartment for valuables and small pouches for loose items. Avoid overfilling so the top edges sit neatly and the contents remain discreet.

Q: What leather care do you recommend?
A: Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately. Avoid harsh cleaners, colour‑transfer risk from dark denim, and prolonged heat or direct sunlight. Store stuffed to maintain shape, in a breathable dust bag, with handles upright and hardware not pressing against leather.

Q: Where can I find the date code on a vintage Céline Boogie?
A: Many vintage Céline bags have a date code stamped on a small leather tab inside a pocket. Formats vary by era, but a common format is letter‑letter/number combinations followed by four digits indicating month and year. Placement and format can differ, and a code alone does not confirm authenticity.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed under product information. If an item such as a dust bag is not mentioned there, it is not included. Each piece at A Retro Tale is thoroughly authenticated by our in‑house experts before listing.
