Q: What typically fits inside the Céline Suede Macadam Shoulder Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 27 x 15 x 11 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses, lip balm and a compact pouch. It is a small shoulder bag rather than a work bag, so it is not suitable for a laptop or larger tablet.

Q: Does the bag close securely?
A: Yes. This bag has a top zip closure, which helps keep your essentials secure while still being easy to access. It is also lined in dark brown textile.

Q: Is the shoulder strap adjustable?
A: Yes. It features a single adjustable flat leather shoulder strap. The listed strap drop is approximately 19 cm, so it should sit neatly under the shoulder with a classic close-to-the-body fit.

Q: Is this a good everyday bag?
A: It works well as a compact everyday option if you carry light essentials and prefer a vintage silhouette. The small size and zipped top make it practical, while the suede finish gives it a softer and more delicate feel than coated canvas, so it is best suited to careful daily use.

Q: How should I care for the suede exterior?
A: Use a soft suede brush to lift the nap and remove light surface dust. For extra protection, many owners use a suede-safe protector spray, but it is best to patch-test first and avoid anything oily or heavily fragranced. Store the bag in a breathable dust bag if you have one, and keep it away from direct heat and humidity.

Q: Can I wear this bag in the rain?
A: It is best to avoid heavy rain or prolonged moisture. Suede can mark or darken when wet. If the bag does get damp, gently blot it with a soft light-coloured cloth and let it dry naturally away from radiators or direct sunlight.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is listed as good. The exterior shows visible rubbing and darkening on the suede corners, the leather strap has creasing, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin label states Italy.

Q: Does this bag have a serial number?
A: No serial number is listed in the product information for this item. Vintage Céline bags can vary in their interior markings, so buyers usually assess authenticity through the overall construction, logo details, stitching, hardware and provenance rather than relying on a single code.

Q: How is a vintage Céline Macadam bag typically authenticated?
A: Authentication usually considers the overall quality of construction, stitching, logo details, materials, hardware and consistency of the model. For this item, A Retro Tale also carries out its own authenticity review before listing.
