Q: What size wrist will this Chanel Camellia Chain Bracelet fit?
A: This bracelet is best suited to a wrist measuring 19 cm or smaller. For the most comfortable fit, we recommend comparing that measurement with a bracelet you already wear regularly, especially if you prefer a looser drape.

Q: What is this bracelet made from?
A: This vintage Chanel piece features a gold-tone chain interwoven with white grosgrain ribbon, a white enamel Camellia flower detail, and a hanging CC logo charm. It is fashion jewellery rather than solid gold fine jewellery.

Q: How does the bracelet fasten?
A: It closes with a lobster clasp, which is a practical and secure fastening for a chain bracelet. As with any vintage piece, it is best to open and close it gently to help preserve the links and decorative details.

Q: What condition is this bracelet in?
A: It is listed in Very Good Condition, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny and shows light surface scratches consistent with careful vintage wear.

Q: Does this bracelet come with anything?
A: Yes, this item comes with a box. Everything included with the piece is listed in the product information, so if something is not mentioned there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What does the Camellia motif mean in Chanel design?
A: The Camellia is one of Chanel’s most iconic house symbols and was a favourite flower of Gabrielle Chanel. Its simple, elegant shape has appeared repeatedly in the brand’s jewellery and fashion designs over the years.

Q: How should I care for vintage Chanel jewellery like this?
A: Apply fragrance and makeup before putting the bracelet on, and keep it away from water, soap, humidity, and harsh chemicals. After wear, wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth and store it separately to help protect the enamel, ribbon, and metal finish from scratches or discolouration.

Q: Can I wear this bracelet every day?
A: Vintage Chanel jewellery can be worn regularly if handled with care, but it is best to avoid showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping in it. Because this design includes enamel and ribbon details, it is better suited to careful occasional or light everyday wear than heavy use.

Q: How is vintage Chanel jewellery authenticated?
A: Vintage Chanel jewellery is typically assessed through a combination of craftsmanship, finish, hardware quality, construction, and markings consistent with the period. As with many Chanel pieces, a stamp or plaque alone is not enough, which is why expert authentication is important.
