Q: What are the dimensions of this brooch?
A: This Chanel CC Camellia Rhinestone Brooch measures approximately 4.5 x 4.5 x 0.5 cm. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact size before purchasing.

Q: What materials and finish does this piece have?
A: This vintage brooch features silver-tone, gunmetal-tone hardware with rhinestone embellishments and a pin fastening. It is designed as fashion jewellery rather than fine jewellery, making it an elegant statement piece with iconic Chanel styling.

Q: What is the condition of this brooch?
A: The brooch is in Very Good vintage condition. Please note that one rhinestone is missing, and the hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches consistent with normal age and wear.

Q: Can the missing rhinestone be repaired?
A: It may be possible for a specialist jeweller or costume jewellery restorer to replace the missing stone. Any repair should be carefully colour and size matched to preserve the original vintage look. The brooch is sold in its current condition.

Q: How can I style a camellia brooch like this?
A: A brooch like this is most commonly worn on a blazer or coat lapel, but it also looks lovely on knitwear, a scarf, or near the collarbone on a dress or blouse. This floral design works best where it can sit flat and remain clearly visible.

Q: Will the pin fastening damage fabric?
A: Like any brooch, it pierces the fabric, so it is best suited to structured materials such as blazers, coats, tweed, denim, knitwear and scarves. Extra care is recommended with delicate silk or very fine fabrics, which may show a pin mark more easily.

Q: What product information is included with this brooch?
A: No original product information is included with this item. If a box, pouch, dust bag or authenticity card is not listed on the product page, it is not included with the brooch.

Q: How should I care for vintage rhinestone jewellery?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear and avoid soaking it in water. Keep it away from perfume, hairspray, harsh cleaning products and prolonged moisture, and store it separately in a dry place to help protect both the rhinestones and the pin fastening.

Q: How do you authenticate Chanel vintage jewellery?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is checked by in-house experts using multiple points of review, such as construction, finish, design details, markings where present and overall period consistency. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
