Q: What size is this Chanel Diana Bag?
A: This is the Medium Chanel Diana Bag. The measurements for this item are approximately 25 cm wide, 16 cm high, and 7 cm deep, with a strap drop of approximately 51 cm. Please refer to the Measurements in the product information for the exact size of this piece.

Q: What typically fits inside a Medium Chanel Diana Bag?
A: A medium Diana bag usually fits day-to-evening essentials such as a phone, card holder or compact wallet, keys, lipstick, and a few small personal items. Thanks to its proportions, it generally offers a little more practical space than many smaller vintage flap styles while still keeping an elegant silhouette.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: The Diana is known for having a longer strap than many classic vintage Chanel flap bags, which is one reason collectors love the style. On this item, the strap drop is approximately 51 cm, so wear will depend on your height and preferred fit. For most people, it is best considered a shoulder bag, though some may find it sits as a short crossbody.

Q: Is the Chanel Diana Bag discontinued?
A: Yes, the original Chanel Diana Bag is a discontinued vintage model, which is part of its appeal. It was produced in the late 1980s to mid-1990s and remains one of Chanel’s most sought-after vintage bag styles on the secondary market.

Q: Why is it called the Diana Bag?
A: The style is widely associated with Diana, Princess of Wales, who famously carried the design. Collectors especially recognise it for its softly curved flap shape, feminine lines, and elegant vintage Chanel look.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This bag includes a serial number tag. Everything included with the item is listed in the product information. If something is not listed there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What does the serial number range mean?
A: The serial number range shown for this item indicates a production period of approximately 1991 to 1994. For vintage Chanel, serial details are one of several elements used to place a bag within the correct era, alongside construction details, hardware, and interior features.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This item is listed in Very Good Condition. The exterior shows signs of wear on the leather strap, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As with most vintage Chanel bags, gentle signs of age and wear are normal and form part of the character of the piece.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Chanel Diana Bag?
A: Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, and avoid overfilling it so the shape stays intact. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after use, and take extra care with vintage leather and hardware. For deeper cleaning or restoration, we recommend using a specialist experienced in luxury vintage bags rather than general leather care products.

Q: Is the Chanel Diana Bag a good collector’s piece?
A: The Diana is widely considered one of the most collectible vintage Chanel bags because it is discontinued, strongly associated with fashion history, and loved for its elegant proportions. Buyers often seek it out for its distinctive curved flap, vintage charm, and rarity compared with more common Chanel flap styles.
