Q: What typically fits inside this Chloé Marcie Tote Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 36 x 27 x 12 cm, this medium-sized tote is well suited to daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch, and a compact tablet or documents. Capacity depends on how you pack, so please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most accurate guide.

Q: Does this bag close securely?
A: Yes. This specific item features a top zip closure, which helps keep your belongings secure while maintaining the relaxed Marcie silhouette.

Q: Does this tote have a shoulder strap?
A: No. Although some Marcie bags and double-carry styles are sold with a detachable strap, this specific item is described with dual wrapped leather handles only and no shoulder strap is listed in the product information.

Q: What pockets and compartments does it have?
A: This bag features a front flap pocket with tassel tie detail, plus a brown fabric-lined interior with one internal pocket. It offers practical organisation while keeping the classic Marcie look.

Q: What are the signature details of the Chloé Marcie line?
A: The Marcie line is known for its equestrian-inspired look, soft structured shape, leather craftsmanship, tassel details, wrapped handles, and polished metal hardware. This tote reflects that recognisable Marcie aesthetic in a practical everyday format.

Q: What material is this bag made from?
A: This piece is made from black grained leather with gold-tone hardware. Grained leather is often appreciated for its textured finish, which can help everyday wear appear less noticeable than on very smooth leather.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: This item is rated Very Good condition. The exterior shows light traces of use, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As with all vintage and second-hand pieces, minor signs of wear are part of its character.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item includes a dust bag. Everything included with the purchase is listed under the product information section, so if another accessory is not mentioned there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How should I care for this grained leather bag?
A: To help preserve the leather, wipe it gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, avoid overfilling it, and keep it away from prolonged moisture, heat, and direct sunlight. When not in use, store it in its dust bag and lightly stuff it to help maintain its shape.

Q: How do you authenticate pre-owned Chloé bags?
A: At A Retro Tale, pre-owned luxury pieces are carefully checked for authenticity using details such as construction, leather quality, hardware, stitching, markings, and overall consistency with the model. If you would like extra reassurance on a specific item, customer care can usually provide further guidance.
