Q: What typically fits inside this Zucca Baguette?
A: With approximate measurements of 25 × 15 × 5 cm, it comfortably carries a large smartphone, compact wallet or cardholder, keys, lip balm, travel-sized hand cream and a few small cosmetics. Slim sunglasses in a soft case may fit. Bulky items like refillable water bottles, tablets or thick long wallets tend to overfill the bag—please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Is the shoulder strap adjustable and can it be worn crossbody?
A: This vintage Baguette has a single flat leather shoulder strap with buckle adjustment and an approximate drop of 19 cm on this piece. It is designed for under-the-arm shoulder carry; the included strap is generally too short for crossbody. Some owners add a longer third‑party strap via the side hardware, but this is not included and suitability depends on the strap clips—use with care to avoid wear on the leather and hardware.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: The bag features a magnetic flap closure with the signature FF buckle at the front. For valuables, there is an internal zipped pocket to keep smaller items secure.

Q: What is Fendi’s Zucca canvas and how does it differ from Zucchino?
A: Zucca is Fendi’s larger‑scale FF monogram introduced in the 1960s and woven into a durable jacquard canvas. Zucchino uses the same motif at a smaller scale. Both are collectible, hard‑wearing fabrics often paired with leather trim.

Q: How should I care for the Zucca canvas and leather trim?
A: Gently wipe the canvas with a soft, slightly damp cloth and allow it to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid soaking, alcohol‑based wipes, bleach and harsh cleaners. For the leather trim, use a dry microfibre cloth and, if needed, a small amount of neutral leather conditioner applied sparingly. Store the bag loosely stuffed in a breathable dust bag to help maintain its shape and minimise colour transfer.

Q: The hardware shows scratches and tarnishing—what’s the best way to maintain it?
A: Lightly buff with a clean, dry, non‑abrasive jewellery polishing cloth. Avoid liquid metal polishes or abrasive products, which can remove plating. For significant tarnish or deep scratches, consider professional care.

Q: Does a continental (long) wallet fit?
A: A slim continental wallet may fit lengthwise, but it will reduce available space and can push against the flap. For the best day‑to‑day use, we recommend a compact wallet or cardholder to keep the interior organised and easy to close.

Q: Is this the classic 1990s Fendi Baguette style?
A: Yes—the Baguette was first introduced in the late 1990s and became an icon of that era. This vintage version in Zucca canvas with leather trim reflects the original shoulder‑carried silhouette and magnetic flap design.

Q: Are any extra items included with this bag?
A: Everything included with the purchase is listed under product information on this page. If an item such as a dust bag or care booklet is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: How do you authenticate this item?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is examined by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and serial details. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can provide additional photos or information on request.
