Q: What size is the Gucci 9750 Diver watch, and how does it wear?
A: This watch has a 28 mm case, which gives it a compact, classic vintage look on the wrist. It is a great choice if you prefer a smaller watch head or have a slimmer wrist. This specific piece is currently sized to fit a 15 cm wrist or smaller.

Q: Is this Gucci 9750 Diver a quartz or mechanical watch?
A: This model is a quartz watch, meaning it is battery-powered rather than automatic or hand-wound. Quartz movements are popular for their convenience and everyday ease of use.

Q: What features does this watch have?
A: This piece features a stainless steel case and bracelet, a white dial, luminescent hands and markers, a date window at 6 o'clock, a rotating diver-style bezel, and a deployment clasp closure.

Q: Is this watch Swiss-made?
A: Yes. Gucci watches are mainly manufactured in Switzerland, and this piece is listed with Switzerland as its country of origin, which is consistent with the brand's watch production.

Q: Is the Gucci 9750 Diver water-resistant?
A: Period references for the 9750 Diver describe it as a diver-style model with water resistance, often listed at 100 metres. However, as this is a vintage watch, we recommend treating it with care and avoiding swimming, showering, or full water exposure unless it has been professionally pressure-tested very recently.

Q: What is the rotating bezel for?
A: The bezel is designed to track elapsed time, which is a classic diver-watch function. Even if you wear it mainly as an everyday piece, it adds a sporty look and practical character to the design.

Q: What condition is this specific watch in?
A: The external condition is rated Very Good, the internal condition is rated Good, and the hardware is described as shiny with light scratches. As with most vintage watches, you should expect gentle signs of age and previous wear rather than a factory-new finish.

Q: What is included with this watch?
A: No additional items are included with this watch. If a box, papers, spare links, or other extras are not listed on this page, they are not part of the sale.

Q: Can the bracelet be resized?
A: This watch is currently sized for a 15 cm wrist or smaller. Making it smaller is usually straightforward, while making it larger depends on whether spare links are available, and none are included here. A professional watchmaker can advise on the best fit options.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Gucci quartz watch?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft cloth and avoid harsh chemicals, strong magnetic fields, high humidity, and extreme temperature changes. When the battery needs replacing, it is best handled by an authorised or experienced watch service centre so the seals can be checked at the same time.
