Q: What typically fits inside the Gucci Marmont Small Top Handle Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 31 × 20 × 14 cm, this bag is suited to daily essentials such as a phone, compact wallet, keys, sunglasses, small cosmetics and other slim items. It is roomy for a small top handle style, but it is not designed for a laptop or other bulky items. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Is the Small size practical for everyday use?
A: Yes. The small top handle size is generally considered a versatile everyday option in the Marmont line, offering enough space for essentials whilst still looking compact and polished.

Q: Can this bag be carried by hand and on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This piece has a 10 cm top handle for handheld carry and includes a detachable shoulder strap with an approximate 50 cm adjustable drop for hands-free wear. Depending on your height and preferred fit, it may also suit a longer shoulder style.

Q: What is this bag made from?
A: This version is crafted in pink grained leather with gold-tone hardware. It has a beige canvas lining and one internal pocket, giving it a softly structured and practical finish.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item comes with a dust bag and a detachable shoulder strap. Everything included with the purchase is listed in the product information on this page.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: This is a vintage, pre-owned Gucci bag in good condition. The exterior shows light traces of use with some discolouration on the bottom, the interior has light signs of use with some stains on the fabric, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. We recommend reviewing the photos carefully for the best impression of condition.

Q: Is grained leather a good choice for regular use?
A: Grained leather is often appreciated for everyday use because its textured finish can help make light surface wear less noticeable than very smooth leather. As with most luxury leather bags, it is still best to avoid overfilling, rubbing against rough surfaces, or exposing it to moisture and heat for long periods.

Q: How should I care for this Gucci bag?
A: For best care, gently wipe the leather with a soft, dry cloth after use and store the bag in its dust bag, lightly filled to help maintain its shape. Keep it away from direct light, heat, humidity and rain, and avoid harsh cleaning or protective products that may alter the leather or lining.

Q: How do you authenticate this item?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is checked for authenticity by specialists using a multi-point review of materials, construction, hardware, branding details and overall craftsmanship, so you can shop pre-owned luxury with confidence.
