Q: What fits inside this Hermès Epsom Balle De Golf Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 23 × 21 × 6 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, cardholder or small wallet, keys, sunglasses, and a few compact cosmetics. It is a compact shoulder bag rather than a large everyday tote, so bulkier items may not fit comfortably.

Q: Is this bag a shoulder bag or a crossbody bag?
A: This piece is best worn on the shoulder. The strap drop is approximately 12 cm, which is generally too short for a typical crossbody fit on most people.

Q: What is Epsom leather, and why is it popular?
A: Epsom is a structured embossed calf leather known for its crisp shape, light weight, and resistance to everyday wear compared with many smoother leathers. It is especially appreciated by Hermès collectors for keeping a polished silhouette over time.

Q: Does Epsom leather scratch easily?
A: Epsom is generally considered more durable and shape-retentive than many smooth leathers, but it is not scratch-proof. This specific bag is already noted to have visible scratches externally and scratches with some dark marks on the hardware, so signs of wear should be expected as part of its vintage character.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is Good Condition. The exterior shows visible scratches, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware is shiny but has scratches and some dark marks. We recommend reviewing all product photos carefully for the most accurate impression of wear.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: No, this item is listed with no accessories. Everything included with the purchase is stated in the product information.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in France.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Hermès Epsom bag?
A: Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Avoid overfilling it, keep it away from water, oils, perfume, and rough surfaces, and wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after use. For deeper cleaning or restoration, specialist leather care is recommended rather than home treatment.

Q: Is the navy colour easy to style?
A: Yes, navy is one of the most versatile colours in vintage luxury. It pairs easily with black, beige, white, grey, denim, and tailored neutrals, making it suitable for both everyday wear and smarter occasions.

Q: Is the Hermès Balle De Golf considered a rare vintage style?
A: Yes, the Balle De Golf is an under-the-radar vintage Hermès model that is less commonly seen than the house’s most famous bag lines. Its more unusual silhouette and relative scarcity make it especially appealing to collectors looking for something distinctive.
