Q: What makes the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso special?
A: The Reverso is celebrated for its distinctive reversible case and elegant Art Deco design. On this piece, the reverse side also features engraved initials, giving it an even more personal vintage character.

Q: What size is this watch?
A: This watch has a 20 mm case and a bracelet that fits a wrist of up to approximately 18 cm. It wears as a refined, smaller-sized watch and is especially well suited to those who prefer a neat, classic profile on the wrist.

Q: What materials is this watch made from?
A: According to the listing, the case and link bracelet are made from stainless steel and 18k yellow gold. It also features a white dial with black Arabic numerals for a timeless, highly recognisable Reverso look.

Q: What is the condition of this watch?
A: The watch is listed in very good condition overall, with very good external and internal condition. Please note there are scratches on the case and bracelet, which are consistent with gentle vintage wear and are part of the character of a pre-owned piece.

Q: Is this considered a vintage watch?
A: Yes. This watch dates to 2001 and is Swiss made, so it is considered a vintage or older pre-owned luxury watch. Many buyers specifically seek out Reverso models from this era for their classic proportions and enduring style.

Q: What product information is included with the watch?
A: This watch comes with a certificate. If other product information is not listed on this page, it should be assumed not to be included.

Q: Can the engraved initials on the reverse be changed or removed?
A: As the reverse has engraved initials, any alteration would require specialist assessment. In some cases professional refinishing may reduce or alter engraving, but complete removal is not always possible and may affect the original finish, so most buyers choose to treat it as part of the watch’s unique history.

Q: Is this watch suitable for everyday wear, and how should it be cared for?
A: It can be enjoyed regularly, but as a vintage luxury watch it is best worn with care. We recommend avoiding water, strong impacts, perfumes, and harsh chemicals, and storing it in a dry place when not in use. Periodic checks and servicing by a qualified watch specialist are advisable to help keep it performing well over time.
